99-year-old man beaten over parking spot

Fort Drum, NY soldier Amanda Jansen, age 26, and 27-year-old husband Christopher Jansen were arrested this week at their home in Watertown, NY and charged with a laundry list of hideous crimes, including: 1st degree rape; possession of an obscene, sexual performance by a child; predatory sex assault towards a child; and criminal sexual acts.
That's the short list. I left a few out.
The New York State Police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children [missingkids.com] that the Jansens might have kiddie porn. A search warrant followed. Cops took the couple's computer and discovered child pornography.
Further interviews with Amanda (a private 1st class with the 10th Mountain Division, 710th Brigade and Support) and Christopher led to allegations that they abused 4 children. The victims were reportedly between 1 and 13 years of age. Investigators in New York believe the abuse has been going on all year.
The couple have lived in both Texas and Kentucky. Police are currently trying to determine whether or not they have left a trail of child victims behind them in the other states.
Christopher Jansen created his only publicly available MySpace while living in Florence, Kentucky. He titled the profile "shadowpuppetporn." He too was a soldier when he created his personal profile: "I'm a soldier stationed at fort sam houston tx. transfered from knox had to give up being a cav scout so no more blowing crap up for me. doing the whole ait thing here, chillin. if you know me hit me up." His profile said he was married, but there was no trace of his wife in the form of photographs or comments. Jansen posted photos of himself -- they showed an average-looking young man with a glassy-eyed expression.
The Jansens will likely face a grand jury. The Army said through a spokesperson that Amanda Jansen will be subject to prosecution by the civilian authorities. Convictions for either Jansen on predatory assault charges could put them away for life. If the charges against the couple are valid, that might not be long enough.

It says in the first link that they had children, then says the discovery of child porn led to "live children close by," then said all of the victims are now out of town or being cared for my CPS. Do you think this means they were abusing their own children? :-(

Posted 09/20/2008 at 09:34:18 AMWTVH said they have four children of their own, but that the police would not say if they were the actual victims and WWNYTV states that the children in question were from the same family - three girls and one boy. Considering the age of the oldest victim (13), the couple would probably be too young to be a biological parent.

Posted 01/05/2009 at 04:46:02 PMi know both of these people as well. both selfish disgusting immoral and irresponsible. apparently not talking about the same amanda. i remember a harrassing idiot with no concerns for anyone but her. as for her husband, worthless and pathetic as well. they are a disgusting pair that obviously fed off of each other's horrific ideas. i hope they never again see a day in the free world. they ruined multiple people's lives and do not deserve to have even a tiny bit of their own to live out later in life. i hope no one feels sorry for these monsters.

Posted 01/16/2009 at 02:22:52 AMwow i was just in jail with chris and he seemed like a really nice guy and ik hes going to federal prison but didnt say y. i knew he was in the army and shit and was from Tx. i searched his name on the internet today now that i am free and i find this. thats disgusting he never came off as that kind of guy. i figured it was a military thing as he and his wife both were in the military. well ik hes getting 10 years at least and his wife is getting 25 so good for them sick bastards
Posted 02/28/2009 at 05:15:26 AMI went to the house they were staying in the other day... I didn't know what had happened so i asked the guy that let us in, that place was shredded to nothing and stuff everywhere... I cannot say why I went there bt i can say that they did have children.

Posted 05/06/2009 at 09:17:29 PMI know people probably don't read this article anymore, but I was actually in Amanda's company. I was at Ft. Drum, 710th BSB and she was in my platoon. She lived down the street from a very good friend of mine and she would come over with her creepy husband and their daughter (together, she has kids from a previous marriage she can't see, and he has kids from a previous marriage that visited for the summer). HE was a total creep, you could just tell by the way he talked to you. Gave me the heebie jeebies. We were all completely blown away that she was charged with...I should say committed...these horrific, disgusting crimes. I have since left the Army and our company deployed. If anyone cares, we all knew her well and hope that she rots in prison until she dies.

I have her address in jail... i know they are holding her without bail. I am scared to send her a mail though, i have a secret security clearance and will not contact her til i know for sure where she stands in the case. I've searched everywhere.
Until then, this letter i have wrote for her gets unsent. I don't want anything to do with a child sex offender. If thats what she is, i too, hope she rots in hell.

Posted 09/06/2009 at 12:56:00 PMThey are both guilty of these acts (they both plead guilty). She has a total of 3 kids and can't see 2 of them, the baby was taken away when they went to jail. He has 3 also from previous marriage. The baby was theirs together. They won't get out for a long time, Chris never, but maybe Amanda. It is quite sick and completely disgusting. I can't give you a link, but I can tell you I am relieved. Whoa momma, I wouldn't write her anything. She deserves NOTHING and should be alone for the rest of her pathetic life.

I looked up this info bc I was in jail with amanda and she was saying she was in jail for drug traficking!! We heard a rumor that was not true do to someone seeing her paperwork so i decided to check and wholly cow!! What a grimey liar!! they both should rot in jail!
