From the Pasadena Star-News:

Elizabeth Duer, 27, of Baldwin Park, was located in County-USC Medical Center's psychiatric ward early Friday, officials said. A nurse recognized her on a newscast and notified police she was there.

Baldwin Park police Sgt. Kevin Gauthier said police received a call from the hospital at about 12:30 a.m., notifying them she was there.

No foul play was involved in Elizabeth's disappearance. When a missing persons case ends up this way, it's a good thing, even if the circumstances -- being in a psychiatric ward -- are still difficult. It also means that this is now a personal issue for all involved -- the formerly missing person and her friends and family. Unless something drastic occurs, there will be no further reporting on this case here.
