mullinshercules.jpgHere's a protip for all you folks out there who think it might be a good idea to hire yourself a killer one day: don't do it, because IT'S ALWAYS A FREAKING COP, YOU IDIOTS.

Seems like folks can watch all the episodes of Forensic Files, every one where the would-be paid killer is a cop, and still not get this.

Case in point: Tonia Mullins, age 32, and her 42-year-old friend, Regina Hercules (see video from KTEN embedded above). The FBI alleges that Tonia and Regina tried to solicit an undercover cop posing as an assassin to kill the wife of a male friend, a serviceman named Michael currently stationed in South Korea. The serviceman will likely soon be arrested, and the whole lot of them may face federal charges.

The feds are serious, too -- Tonia Mullins and Regina Hercules are being held on $1,000,000 bond.

On MySpace, Regina Hercules called herself "Wennie." She seemed a little defensive about being online. In her MySpace blog, Wennie wrote, "i am just lerning [sic] to use this thang so if you do not like it get-off my site."

On the profile, she said that she was "A mom of 2 boys and wife of 16 years." Wennie also wrote that she was "a hairdresser" and told anyone reading to come bring her some business.

Wennie Hercules's headline was a real charmer: "The only reason dumb asses are still alive is because it's illegal to kill them!!!"

Wennie's number 1 friend on the personal networking site was Tonia Mullins. Her profile was private, but this message could be seen by any reader: "Support our troops! CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!! When is it going to end???"

Speaking of troops -- Wennie's number 2 MySpace friend was a soldier named Michael. He gave his age as 26 and said he was stationed in Suwon, South Korea.

Michael wrote, "I really dont [sic] wanna meet anyone in particular. If they wanna meet me groovy come right up and say hi!"

He also gave his Yahoo e-mail, screen name "Lefgor." There, he gave his full name, Michael Crawford. His occupation: "yay im in the army yay" and his marital status -- "single."

He created his Yahoo profile in 1998. The profile indicated that Michael Crawford last updated on 7/27/2008.

Investigators have told various Oklahoma media outlets that evidence in this case includes audio and videotapes as well as text messages sent via cell phones.

Pontotoc County (OK) DA Chris Ross will likely file charges against Tonia Mullins and Regina "Wennie" Hercules on Monday.
