This was my daughter's father. I always knew that he was a bad person, I can't believe that he would go this far.

This just baffles me....Once a typical boy......now monster!

Mark was my best friend our senior year at Conroe HS. We spent countless hours together, always having a good time. He did have a violent side, liking to destruct property, but I don't remember him ever threatening to hurt anyone. I figured he was just a typical testoterone filled teen doing stupid stuff to show off.

I saw him start to change when he started doing cocaine in the early 90's. He was a successful car salesman and one time he traded a brand new car from the lot to a dealer for some coke. He got caught and had to get the car back.

The last time I saw him was in the late 90's and his mind was already starting to go, but he was still selling cars and had a normal life.

I guess he graduated to crack eventually, and was allegedly on a mix of pot/embalming fluid when he commited the murder. He had to be totally out of his mind because the guy I knew wouldn't be capable of something so violent.

I really feel like he has a mental illness and the drugs drove him over the edge, but don't expect the jury to care. Afterall, this is the state that executes the mentally ill.

It's sad to see someone who once had a bright future throw it all away in an instant.

Mark made his choice's. Way before I got pregnant, I told him that he needed to change for his son. He showed signes of changing, but there was still a dark side to him. He was always very agressive and had a facination with knives.
Mark was doing well at one point, I had him get back into car sells so that we could have something good for our future children and ourselves. But the more money he made the more he drank and popped pills and started to allow drugs to come around. I was about 6mo's along with our daughter when he left Infinity because he did not want to pay childsupport on his son. That was when I told him that he seriously needed to pray so that he could find the path that he is ment to go down on.
We had a baby shower, the following day he had returned everything back to where they had came from to either recieve money or to buy beer. Our daugher was born 3 days after the baby shower. Once I had noticed the path Mark had chosen, I let him go by telling him, "the drugs, or your family"
I could not take care of him the way he wanted me to. I really dont think anybody could have. He made you believe that he had found God and that he was a saved, changed man. Mark could sell you a dead turtle and tell you that it was just asleep. He was that good.
You know that he did not remember his daughters name one week after she was born. We had picked out her name 3 years before she was born and he could not remember it at all.
Do not feel sorry for Mark. Pray for his soul, for his brothers and for the family of the man he murdered. No matter what happens to Mark here on earth, he has to answer to someone higher than you and I.

i have known mark since i was 15 he is my sons uncle mark was always very smart. i have never knew him to be violent was a very good car salesman raiesd by two wonderful parents.he did get into drugs which i always told him he was better than that but once you get so far i guess it is hard to get control of your life again. i pray for him every day and the man he murdered. i still cant belive what he has done the mark i knew would never do that.

I know Mark Boyd and he can bullshit a bullshiter. He did have a very bad temper. Tina

You of all people should know how dangerious Mark could be. You have seen first hand the drugs mixed with his drinking how bad he could be. There have been some crazy things I have seen that I wish I had never experienced. All the crazy stories that Paula would tell about Mark were all true. I was there a few times when he would yell out what he was going to do to her. I knew in my heart that he would never hurt her because it would hurt his son. Wilbur Lee is My Father! And Hey Chris, Marks Good ole Buddy, Mark Will Get EVERYTHING He deserves by the jury, I cant wait to watch his lethal injection! Also thanks to the rest of you who had kind words for my family and I , it is very appreciated. Although, the rest of you can butter Mark up as much as you want, But what he did to my father was deliberate and planned which you all will hear about during trial. I stood in My Fathers blood, I saw what that Maniac did, and he will get his well deserved punishment by lethal injection and by God!

As he's ex wife i believe this guy should be under the jail Will never ever did anything to anyone to deserve this kind of treatment

wendy. i do not feel sorry for mark i feel sorry for you. people have different reasons for doing things they do you were not very old when you and mark met he had already lived a life time before you even met him. you should feel the way you do but the things that lead you and mark to ya'lls situation are way beyond your memory. years from now you will change your mind about the way you feel. turns out i bought that turtle and he was just sleeping. so there.
