Jury Seeks Death for Slasher
Update on Campus Shootings at University of Central Arkansas

Conway, Ark. - Nineteen-year-old Chavares Block [Facebook], and Ryan Henderson, age 18, were killed last night at the University of Central Arkansas. There is no evidence that the gunfire that took the lives of Block and Henderson was gang-related. There was no confirmation offered in a press conference held this morning in Conway that the shooting was connected to homecoming festivities at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB). There are two suspects in custody. UCA President Tom Courtway says that even though the campus is safe, students will see an increase in campus security in the coming days. The suspected shooters in the incident that took place around 9:30 p.m. CT on Sunday night were not students at UCA. According to MSNBC, the attack on the UCA students was not random, but targeted.
