These grandparents have been dragged into something horrible--quite by surprise I am afraid.

If this skeleton is Cayley--they need to start cooperating with police. (IMHO)

Any sympathy I have for the grandparents went out the window when they started covering for their daughter. Denial runs deep but they are too sneaky to convince me otherwise that they know what happened.

Violet, I agree with you about "denial runs deep." It's one thing to defend a loved one, but it's something else to have the delusion that your child is "perfect" and everyone else is "flawed" - especially if you already know your child's personality.

I have NO sympathy for the Anthonys for that reason! Caylee's death could have been prevented if they took Caylee at birth and raised her themselves!

Also, since they already knew Casey was "a sociopath", they should have disowned her instead of continuing to protect her!

It's easy to look back at a situation and think you could have done something differently, but I think that is why Cindy can't admit her daughter was involved because when she does she has to face that she is at fault too and that may be too much for her so she has to con't to support her so she can face herself in the mirror is my guess.

THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE MOST DISTURBING CASES THAT I'VE EVER HEARD OF. JUST INCREDIBLE, UNTHINKABLE AND UNIMAGINABLE THE DEPTH OF DECEIT THAT THIS GIRL AND HER FAMILY ARE UNREAL! ALWAYS BLAMING OTHER PEOPLE AND NOT LOOKING AT THEIR OWN SELVES ( SUCH AS SAYING THAT THEY WEREN'T GETTING ENOUGH COVERAGE TO FIND CAYLEE, THAT THE BABY GIRL HAD BEEN KIDNAPPED, ETC.). AND TO THINK THAT SHE WAS LESS THAN 1/2 MILE AWAY THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME. I'M CURIOUS AS TO WHY THEY DIDN'T THINK TO SEARCH THAT AREA THEMSELVES, GEORGE ADMITTED TO THE POLICE THAT THE SMELL THAT HE SMELLED COMING FROM THE CAR WITH, IN FACT, THE SMELL OF A DECOMPOSING BODY. AND THE WAY THAT LEE TORE THE MEMORIAL FOR CAYLEE DOWN AND STOMPED INTO HIS PARENTS HOUSE AND SLAMMED THE DOOR- YOU COULDN'T HELP BUT NOTICE THAT THE 'HAVE YOU SEEN CAYLEE' SIGN STILL PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED. THEY BLAME EVERYONE BUT THE OBVIOUS PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MURDER OF A TWO YEAR-OLD CHILD, CASEY ANTHONY. IF THEY HAD SPENT HALF THE EFFORT PROTECTING CAYLEE THAT THEY DID PROTECTING CASEY- CAYLEE MIGHT STILL BE AROUND. I JUST PRAY THAT WHEN SHE GOES TO TRIAL THAT THE JURY WILL HOLD HER ACCOUNTABLE FOR WHAT SHE DID TO AN INNOCENT BABY. SHE DESERVES THE DEATH PENALTY FOR WHAT SHE DID. I READ THAT HER PARENTS SAID THAT WHEN THE POLICE TOLD THEM THAT THEY THOUGHT THEY CAYLEE HAS BEEN FOUND THAT THEY SAID THE POLICE TOLD THEM THEY BELIEVE THAT IT WAS AN ACCIDENT. DUCT TAPE OVER THE MOUTH OF THAT LITTLE GIRL SHOWS IT WASN'T AN ACCIDENT.WHAT REALLY HAPPENED TO THAT CHILD?? WHAT DID SHE DO TO HER? SHE'S ALIAR, WE KNEW THAT FROM THE START THAT SHE WAS HIDING SOMETHING- THAT'S WHY SHE DIDN'T REPORT HER'MISSING'. AND IF IT WAS REALLY ACCIDENT SHE WOULD HAVE CALLED AN AMBULANCE OR SOMETHING. ANY CONCERNED PARENT WOULD. OBVIOUSLY CASEY WASN'T AND ISN'T. NOT ONE TEAR HAVE I SEEN HER CRY OVER HER CHILD. MAYBE SHE WAS JEALOUS OF THE ATTENTION THAT EVERYONE SHOWED CAYLEE. SINCE SHE WAS USED TO BEING THE CENTER OF ATTENTION, THAT CREATED A PROBLEM. IF YOU LISTEN TO THE FIRST TAPED CONVERSATION FROM JAIL TO HER FAMILY, SHE TELLS LEE'S GIRLFRIEND, AFTER THE GIRL SAYS 'IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO CAYLEE I WON'T BE ABLE TO STAND IT. I'LL DIE' AND CASEY GOES ON TOSAY WHAT A WASTE HER PHONE CALL WAS AND THAT ALL HER FAMILY WANTED WAS TO FIND CAYLEE. WHAT A TELLING REMARK THAT WAS! SHE SOUNDS JEALOUS. HOW SICK IS THAT?!

The more the grandparent speaks, the more I feel why Casey is what she is. The whole family is in denial and very disrespectful towards people who are trying to help them. I think Casey learn to be deceitful from her mother. All of them, the Anthony's, keeps telling everyone that Caylee should be the center of attention but none of them are willing to come out and show and prove that they wanted Caylee to be found. The only thing they do over and over again is to complaint that everyone else is not doing their part or work hard enough to find Caylee but I've yet to see any member's of the Anthony doing anything but complaint.
