Was Casey Anthony's Fingerprint on the Duct Tape?

• i think casey told lee later in years about what she had done  i think because he love his sister to help spare her life he keeps his mouth close . she lies and lies  i think she use cloriform and the duct tape on kaylee then put her in the trunk of the car the little body starts to decay thats why the odor she later get rid of the body part the car at amscot then call tony larenzo to pick her up lies about out of gasoline didnt want him near the car because of the deaf odor stinch in the car then she lie lie lie her mom go to tonys house for casey make her come home question her about casey she then lies to say shes missing lie shes with the nanny like taken police to empty apartment where she say she drop kaylee off lie take down the name of a hispanic lady that was filling out a app. for a apartment she fill out a welcome card  after the use of it they toss it in the trash casey then gotten her name from the card  casey lied she said this is who had kaylee  she lied the hispanic lady have several kids of her own  casey lied the lady never saw her before she have her layor fool it said that he think kaylee drown she have told him lie after lie but try to make he dad excesary to murder she lies never really work for years it was just one boy or man after another she was just a dum hot hore. but remeber god sit high and he looks low she will see it again to enter into the kingdom of heaven you have to go through by our lord  our savyor .god blesss them all Amen.

• As a grandmother of 7, I can tell you that if I didn't see or hear from my first grandchild for more than a day, I would be over at my daughters house! My daughter is a good mother..but the instincts are there! Cindy letting 30+ days go by without seeing or speaking to Caylee after they lived in the house since her birth is unfathomable. I would have combed the entire city till I found them, took pictures..then taken the baby away and told the mother to come and try to claim her. But that's just me!

• What i dont understand is why didnt her parents demand to see their granddaughter. Cayley was missing for over 30 days. I could only beleave that the grandparents must of asked casey on several different occasions (when they saw casey without cayley) where is caley???? How could they beleave for over a month that every time they saw casey without cayley she was with the nanny!!! That makes me BELEAVE that the parents knew what had happened.Is it really worth loose one save the other!!

• The Anthony's have been ordered to give a deposition in the Zenaida Gonzalez lawsuit and are trying to get out of it. Why? Citing emotional distress. They are still hiding something. And remember, they were not given immunity from anything. The judge allowed a 20 day delay but they cannot get out of this. They would have to produce solid medical evidence of why they cannot testify. I don't think the judge is going to allow them to get away with this. Even if they allowed George a reprieve based on his breakdown, Cindy and Lee should still testify. They decided to stand by Casey and her babysitter kidnap story, so now they will have to live with all of the fallout from that.

• At the father's day outing Cindy's mother told her that Casey was stealing money from Cindy's fathers nursing home account. She went home and confronted Casey about this and that is when they had the big fight (even physical) and Casey left with Caylee. This was the last time Cindy would have seen the baby. Casey and Caylee came back the next day when Cindy was not there and that is when George saw them leaving with backpacks. That was the last time George would have seen Caylee...the day after father's day. What I want to know is according to nancy grace last night Casey had not worked since 2004. How could she have payed for ANY baby sitter and how could her family not know she had no job? Where did she go every day? Did she not have to contribute any money at all to the family for her and Caylee's living expenses?

• oh, to further clarify ,the shorts in the bag with the remains are said to be striped,by the evidence reports,the shorts in the video (it as been blogged are also striped but the white balance causes the stripes not to show up very well ) well cindy did not give up fathers day as the last day she saw her (she at first said june 5th) how could she forget that fathers day outing and video, fathers day was a very fishy day at the anthonys

• are the clothes in the bag with the remains the same as in the video w/ the grandfather? seems i once heard mention of striped shorts. if so means to say ,who put her to bed ? changed her into bed clothes? or no ,same clothes cuz she died on fathers days night,could after seeing her grandfather, fight breaks out over who is her father ,leads to meltdown, leads to murder. anna dont forget that angle it was fathers day and there is mystery as to who is father.

• Between the thick/massive web of lies lies lies, lack of remorse & selfish motives, I do believe Casey must have narcisistic (or antisocial) personality disorder. And I know that the personality-disordered have very ingrained qualities, and narcisists are adept at emulating human emotions to manipulate people. So from a psychological standpoint, how do you explain the pictures & videos where she looks like she is happy with Caylee? When you look at the eyes/smile, it looks very genuine - and in a video I saw on a website, it looked like she was having tons of fun bouncing her around & playing with her. Just curious about the psychological rationale behind these depictions of warmth and "normalcy" with respect to antisocial PD's. Could she maybe have other mental illnesses going on (combined with sociopathologic tendencies)? Could her antisocial traits have become more pervasive & intense over time, or intermittently more prominant?

• Like one of the legal experts said on tv last night, really the most damning evidence against Casey is all the lies she told in the beginning. Like leading the police on a wild goose chase all over Orlando, Universal Studios and the nonexistent job, the nonexistent apartment where Cayley was supposed to have been taken. Someone intent on finding their missing daughter would never have done that. The lies coupled with the partying photos will probably do it for alot of jurors.

• Poor adorable little Caylee, how could anyone in thier right mind do that to their own child?? But we are not for sure she did it, everything looks at Casey that she did kill her daughter, but in the USA you are innocent until poven guilty in a court of law!! I feel so sorry for the Gr. Grand-pa that is holding Caylee in the last pictures you see of her, I think on Fathers Day!! But he was holding Caylee and she leaned up and kissed him, that was so sweet, and blinking her eyes!!

• Yes, the prosecutor has plenty of convincing and damning circumstantial evidence aside from the diary. We don't know is the defense team plans to pull out of the hat, though. That Casey never reported her two-year-old daughter missing is beyond belief, for starters. Now we believe we know why she didn't. She's piled up a stack of evidence against herself.

• That may be true about the diary, but they definitely don't need it for a conviction. All evidence still points to no one but Casey.

• What I saw on the opposite page of the discussed diary notes was '03. We cannot assume this was written on June 21, 2008. IF Casey continued to write in her diary, chronologically, this entry was made before any others she may have made during the following years. There's no proof, as yet, that the aired diary entry was written AFTER Caylee's death. I tend to believe Casey wrote those words in 2003.

• I think she should be given the death penalty. She premeditated the murder and has been lying. People get punished harder for less crimes and she is getting treated like people feel bad for her. I dont feel bad and she should be punished to the fullest. How can you look your own child in the eyes and kill them?

• Fingerprints on the duct tape would be huge, but all they need to do is tie the duct tape found on Caylee to the Anthony home. They can do tests to determine if it came from the same roll as other duct tape in the house. They have already determined that. There was duct tape on the gas cans that was a match. They have also determined the laundry bag that the remains were in is from the Anthony home. They found the background page that the heart sticker came from. Did everyone hear about the diary found? They don't know if it is from June of 08, but it basically is almost a written confession where she says "I hope the end justifies the means, I am happier now than I have ever been, I hope I did the right thing, etc, etc. They need to seek the death penalty. Caylee deserves justice.

• Is it really possible that fingerprints on tape would survive such lengthy exposure to water and other elements? Given how little of the body was left, and the condition it was in, I'm surprised investigators feel confident that the tape was in the same place it was originally.

• THE ONE THING IN MY MIND THAT THE JURY SHOULD REMEMBER DURING THE WHOLE TRIAL IS THAT SHE WAS OUT DANCING AND AT PARTIES THE WHOLE TIME SHE WENT UNREPORTED. THAT SAYS IT ALL!!!!!!

• i noticed that the man who saw green garbage bag in december also says he saw a white bag in august , my ? is this too people . could he have seen a laundry bag and some-one went back and took bag and placed in green garbage bag ??? this is so bazzarr and i believe there is more the anthony family knows and that is why they have not taken lie detector test . if nothing to hide why not take it. they need to respect the memory of caylee and start focusing on the reality that there daughter is a perpetual liar and that she most possibly took the life of there little angel grandaughter caylee.the truth will come out . rest with god and the angels caylee for they are your protectors now .

• If you look at that last video taken of Caylee hugging her Great Grandfather in the nursing home you can clearly see the child has a very frightened look in her eyes. She is clinging to the man for dear life. This is the last video that was taken of her before her death. Many think she was killed just days after this. She must have suffered abuse and neglect at the hands of her mother before her death. She could have taken that child anywhere and just dropped her off. So many families would have taken her in. But Casey's need to "make a point", and get back at her mother outweighed Caylee's needs. She never loved that child. She did not have the capacity to. People with narcissistic personality disorder to not have it within them to love anyone. They only use and abuse throughout their life. They leave a trail of victims a mile long. They should NEVER have children.

• Anna, I see it exactly the way you do and I would go one step further. I think Casey terrorized that child every chance she got to be alone with her from infancy on. Many photos of Caylee show a tense baby when she is with Casey, sometimes with the child having a forced smile. Caylee seldom appears relaxed and happy. Even a newborn senses hostility. I recognize it very well, because I grew up that way, with nobody on the "outside" having a clue. There was very good reason for the grandparents to be seeking custody. They knew the truth, even if they never could admit it.

• We have a vindictive, mean, self centered, lying type of person like Casey in my family. They infect everyone's life with their poison. There is no escaping it. This person has a son who is now in prison for drug addiction and theft. I dont' think we'll have to worry about Casey having any more children unless she has sex with a prison guard. She is going down, it may take awhile but she is going down. The only thing that really disturbs me here other than Casey is Cindy telling this child to call HER "mother". No matter how lousy a parent Casey was, that was just plain wrong and it confuses an already confused child. I also think they should have placed Caylee for adoption. She would be alive today. Casey plainly did not want to raise the child and said so. The parents insisted on keeping her. So, who was the more selfish? As for Lee and his coded message, just plain weird, and completely inappropriate at a memorial service that was meant for Caylee because he was not referring to Caylee.

• The motive for the killing of Caylee is very clear. Casey was jealous of the baby. Casey was trying to even with her mother. She felt her mother loved Caylee more then her and what better way to punish her mother but to take the baby away. Maybe it's the same motive with the Dad. He really loved the baby so take the baby from him too. The 2nd motive (really the same as the first) is that she was responsible for that child and the child was in her way, stopping her from the freedom she wants. She wanted her freedom but wasn't going to give her parents the satisfaction of adopting Caylee. So she wanted her cake (freedom) and eat it too(full of jealousy and didn't want anyone else to have Caylee, especially her parents). She felt her only way out was to kill the child, then she would have gotten even with her parents and have her freedom too. It all centers around jealously and vindictiveness. She wants no competition in regards to her, her family, her boyfriends and erroneously blamed the poor baby. To tell the truth, the world would be better with Caylee rather then Casey in it. I'm for the death penalty. I'm positive that if she has another child, even if married, that she will take that child's life too if she feels the little one is getting in her way of what she wants. And she'll be sure to make sure the next one isn't found at all. I also sincerely believe that her brother Lee has a hand in this somewhere. Even if it was after the fact. That message to "CMA" was telling her he still hadn't admitted to knowing anything. Don't have to be a genious to figure that one out. Thanks for letting me have my say.. Anna

• Finally - maybe some concrete physical evidence.

• The defense has way more than fingerprints on duct tape to be worried about. This case goes far beyond reasonable doubt without the duct tape. The lies to police, the nonexistent nanny, the smell of a decomposing body in her car, the computer searches for chloroform and neck breaking, the incriminating party photos taken after Caylee went missing, the incriminating cell phone records. The items buried with Caylee that were taken out of her room. People have gotten the death penalty for less than this.
