Quadruple Homicide, Hueytown, Alabama

According to The Birmingham News, a quadruple homicide occurred sometime overnight at

225 Woodland Drive in Hueytown, Alabama. From Blog.al.com:

The victims are two men and two women, all believed to be in their 20s, [Police Chief Chuck] Hagler said. He would not reveal their identifies. A man described as a person of interest has been taken into custody, he said...

Few other details are available at the moment, but I was able to find a listing online for the residence where the murders occurred. It included photos of rooms inside the house, and seeing them cleaned up and camera-ready was eerie.

This house is up for sale on Remax.com. My husband isn't from this area and picked it out as one to look at. I was going through his list and saw the address and told him NO WAY. I just googled it to make sure that I was right..He says it's not like it's haunted. The woman who killed herself was rumoured to be possessed, then kills herself in the hallway, and then there is a quadruple homicide two years later? I wouldn't touch it with a sixty foot pole.
Any body have any info about what is going on in the case. If so let me know. thank you.

I went to school with and knew from childhood one of the couples. And my heart goes out to there children and families that are left behind. I cannot imagine what they must be going through right It leaves us all feeling very uneasy. And I certainly hope that the young man that did this gets exactly whats coming to him! Regaurdless of what mental problems he has had prior to this. I mean u just can't do this to people just b/c u are jealous that someone isn't with you anymore!! Maybe something good will come of this. Although I can't imagine what it could be.
a woman, the owners wife, commited suicide in this same home hallway about 2 years ago, theres more to this house than people know.
I live on the connecting street to Woodland Ave. To have four people brutally murdered just yards from my backyard is frightening. I grew up in Hueytown, and in my 49 years nothing has ever come close to this tragedy. To have police sitting in front of your house to block the road for the entire day was unsettling at the least. The patrolman could not give us information. All he could say was that there was a "situation". I had to hear what it was about from the 5:00 news. However, the Hueytown police department was excellent in keeping our neighborhood calm.
I hope he fries for the murder of these people this is awful and stuff like this doesnt happen in our town.He should have to pay and my heart goes out to the babies that have had their lives changed forever.

Hueytown is a suburb of Birmingham, located between it and Bessemer. I have cousins on my dad's side who live in the general area. Unless things have gotten crazy in the last few years, this kind of crime completely unheard of there. I'm reminded of that heinous case in VA (I think) where the family was held captive by home invaders, then systemtically raped & murdered before the perps set the house on fire to cover their tracks. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hueytown,_Alabama
