Will you or can you cover the case of the Byrd and Melanie Billings murders in Florida? It is such a tragic story. They were truly angels on earth, giving such love and care to all of the children they adopted (developmentally disabled mostly, from what I know).

Posted 07/22/2009 at 05:13:29 PMThank you, everyone. I've got a new post up today, 7/23/09 and will be back on it now.
Posted 07/24/2009 at 01:50:42 PMSteve, welcome back from your family sadness, and hopefully a refreshing family vacation.
Billings case is fascinating, and will only be more so with your imput.
Jenner murders have long interested me, as I am from California, and remember this made big headlines. Unless some forensics or something else can place the perp in the area at the time, I think unfortunately this will remain a cold case, but there is always hope for the family to know just what did happen. So random, and so scary.
How do you feel about the conviction in the Trimble???? spelling??? case, I know at one point you wanted to do an investigation, and perhaps write a book about this. I think your early writings maybe led to this case to be re opened or re examined. forgive, no spell check here, but I try!
I very O/t, as a California person, want to say that I am very satisfied to know Jesse James Hollywood has met justice in the Nicholas Markowitz murder case, and hope, truly hope, that his conviction will prevail over appeals. However, that is up to higher powers than myself, meaning the court.
Welcome back!
