His M.O. is to target females who live alone in off-campus apartments. Attorney General Steve Six believes he may be stalking them prior to the attack, making sure no one else will be home. The rapes have occurred during school breaks. Sometimes he breaks in while the women are asleep. But in other cases there has been no forced entry, implying that he's climbing in through unlocked doors and windows, or sneaking in during the day, then hiding to attack at night.
Cops have produced a police sketch, but so far the descriptions from victims vary so much as to render them almost useless. The rapist has been depicted as a white male in his mid-20s, weighing from 180 to 220 pounds, and anywhere from 5-foot-9 to 6-foot-2.
