Acea Schomaker Gets 90 Days for Stuffing Cat in Bong

The latest in cat lodging for the devoted pothead
​21-year-old Acea Schomaker of Lincoln, Nebraska noticed that his fiance's six-month-old cat, Shadow, was acting hyper. So like any good pothead, he decided that a little herb was just the ticket.

Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to convince cats to hit a bong. Maybe they're just prude. Or maybe they struggle with the English language, creating an insurmountable language barrier. So Schomaker decided to stuff Shadow into his homemade bong, an inventive little box built from duct tape and tubing. Shadow, we must presume, was very appreciative, though she immediately expressed a hankering for off-brand potato chips.

Deputies discovered the cat in her new home after responding to a domestic call. Now Schomaker will have to do 90 days in the slam and pay $1,100 in restitution to the Humane Society.
