Jonathan Frazier Admits to Killing Baby Cecil After Feeling 'Frustrated and Overwhelmed'

Detectives and hundreds of volunteers spent last weekend searching for the child. But it ended Sunday when Frazier changed his story. He now claimed he'd fallen off his bed during the night and woke to find Cecil suffocated under him. It wasn't the best story for a man with previous meth-related convictions. But as you can guess by now, Jonathan V. Frazier did not graduate with a physics degree from Yale...
He told a relative he panicked, so he wrapped the child in a blanket and left him in the driveway of his wife's ex-boyfriend, hoping to frame the guy for the slaying. But when police examined the body, injuries to Cecil's head looked nothing like accidental suffocation.
According to police, Frazier has now confessed to killing the child. He says he was frustrated and overwhelmed after his wife left for prison without making child care arrangements. So he swung Cecil into a door, a wall and a bed frame, reports the Bellingham Herald.
Lucky for him, this seeming act of drunken rage has saved him from first-degree murder charges. Because prosecutors don't believe they can prove the slaying was premeditated, Frazier has been charged with second degree murder.
