Nancy Grace: Whatever Happened to Karen Wright?

• i was so sorry to hear about karen, i am a very good friend of one of the truck drivers....Paul Armstrong, I agree with Marcia about the law enforcement in Merced. 16 years my friend has been gone, and I believe randy was involved, supposedly the sheriff found his burnt up lexus in a field and that was the same car that supposedly one of the dispatchers said that Randy had taken Paul and Steve away in the trunk. Seems to me their bodies probably arent far from that scene, and why couldn't they find any trace evidence in that trunk? Nancy I wish you would of been there for him. I have talked to various psychics and just when it seems we are making headway something stops us from finishing... dont know what that is all about.

• Karen Wright is my sister. Mom made a phone call to Karen on 2/8/2009 at 1:00pm to her cell phone. No one ever followed up on that to find out where the cell hit was.Karen said she was out walking the dogs, however did not state where. The next day 2/9/2009 Karen calls mom from the Eldorado House and said she was in Mexico (San Felipe) and that Randy was at the house she would be home on 2/11/2009. After i heard the news that afternoon i frantically tried to call Karen on her cell and at the house in Mexico no answer on cell and only a fax tone from the house. The next thing is i recieved a call from the Merced Sherriffs department stating Randy came back from Mexico and said Karen went missing. He told the sheriff that Karen and him were at the new house south of town and that Karen did not like the cabinets and she took a bat and started hitting them. He then goes on to say. The next morning he gets a call from the neighbor at the new house, stating Karen's hummer is outside the home, windows rolled down the dogs in the back seat with food and water on the floorboard. Karen's bag was neately in place in the rear of the hummer. Karen was no where to be found. He then took the hummer and parked in the garage. He left San Felipe on 2/11/2009 and headed for Merced once in Merced he spent the night at his parents house. That was when he reported her missing to the sheriffs 2/12/2009 and that is when i recived the call 12:00pm. Through the course of the divorce Karen was granted the home in Merced and Randy had to stay in the motorhome, per court orders. Randy moves right in the house and nobody did anything, this is a contemp of court. They did not go to the house to see if there had been a crime there. They did not serve a search warrant until one month later. At that time 3/18/2009 they said Karen's cloths had been removed from the house and that Randy had done removed them, however Randy never stated this. Where were her cloths when Randy came back from Mexico, we will never no, because the detectives never went to the house. They also stated that search of the house also revealed Karen's drivers license and all of her credit cards. These were found at the house in Merced. They never followed Karen's trail down to Mexico. She drove a hummer that gets 8mi to gal, with a 32 gallon tank. No fill-up in Merced and nothing until the boarder town of El Centro which was at 5:09am and only 15 gallons were recorded on her card. However detectives never went to the gas station to see if it was her, her hummer, if any one was with her or was her gas card used by someone else. The detectives stated it was erelavent Karen was in Mexico. Karen would never drive through the middle of the night. They did not even check her credit cards, atm, bank statements until 3 months later. At that time the cards revealed no other purchases ie; hotel, gas. No cell phone calls through the night on her cell. You don't drive 15 hours and not use your cell phone. She would have told use she was in route. Getting back to the detective on 2/12/2009 he told me what is done is done. A week into this the detective stated that Mexico had enough information to arrest Randy for the murder of my sister. However Mexico had not even done an investigation, nor had we filled out a missing persons report in Mexico. Frantically trying to get this in the media, the detective shut it down every time. A week into this I told the detectives I would keep Karen's cell phone paid, the detective told me your wasting your money. Did he know somthing I did not. Randy is tied to two missing men that worked for him back in 1993. The Merced Police department handled this case and its not even there jurisdiction, this went under the carpet. In conversation with another detective at the sheriffs department, he stated to me that the Merced Police Deparment had enough information and evidence to arrest Randy for murder for the two guys, and nothing was done. Karen was Randy's girlfriend at the time and they did not even ask her any questions. The family has given information on the two guys, to there wherabouts and they are still doing nothing. They have no respect for Karen, thats because they have no respect for themselfs. The detectives never looked for my sister, there are so many holes in their story. Randy and Gary Barker killed those two men and the detectives know this. The mexican attorney working for Karen's family is in contact with the mexican officials about this case and they still have nothing.. The detectives never once did and investigation in California. These people are the most incompetent law enforcement I have ever encountered. We have a six year old boy once the stepson of Randy Wright that mysterially drowns and avid swimmer found floating face down in the neighbors pool, when they had a pool of there own. Randy was the only one home with the boy at the time. That too went under the carpet. Randy is paying someone off. I have recieved several emails from people in the community of Merced that have said be very careful of the Merced law enforcement and that Randy has deep ties with them. They do not want this in heavy media, because it shows there lack of due diligence. Thank You Nancy Grace for picking this up and I hope we haven't heard the last of it. • This is so crazy....Merced sherriffs dept has shut everything down...the family is not able to get this story out...what should we be doing ?????
