Man kills serial pedophile

| Brandy Badillo: It's doubtful she'll be consulted by criminologists on the finer points of kidnapping |
Yet Badillo wasn't content to have one the old-fashioned way. Like, say, finding a man, settling down, and engaging in reproduction. No, she decided it would be easier to simply kidnap an existing one, since it would alleviate nine months of discomfort and prevent the advent of embarrassing stretch marks. And who do you call when you want to abduct a small child? The police, quite naturally.
So she unknowingly hired undercover cops to kidnap the child of a family friend. She apparently didn't think through how the friend would suddenly notice her baby was missing. Or how Badillo had mysteriously given birth to the exact same child. But it's safe to say our assailant isn't a detail person. Badillo gave the cops cash and guns and told them where to grab the preferred child. That's when they grabbed her on a slew of kidnapping charges.

That really takes the cake, but it serves her right. If every criminal would just ask the police for help, we would all be a lot safer.
Posted 09/09/2009 at 09:26:07 PMShe's obviously mentally ill. I doubt prison would be the right place for her.
Posted 09/10/2009 at 03:15:45 AMThis person definitely must be separated from the society. That's amazing how some people come up with such a stupid and evil shit like kidnapping. She is sick.
Posted 09/10/2009 at 06:59:29 AMWithout people like her, how do we get interesting news? How long would I troll reddit looking at sports, politics, technology stuff? This is interesting stuff like this that makes my day. FYI I like the way some people's brains work/think. Exactly like me sometimes.
Posted 09/10/2009 at 08:30:16 AMIf being stupid was water, this woman would be an ocean. Can you imagine how she would raise a child? Stretch marks would be the least of this idiots problems.
How was she able to find a men to do the job? They turned out to be cops. Did she advertise? Was it word of mouth? Or did she meet them in a bar? If it were a friends baby, how would she keep it a secret? I have this scenario in my head as to how she brought the subject up. Like, gosh you seem like someone who might want to do something different. So are you free on Friday night, and do you like babies?
Nuts.
Posted 09/11/2009 at 04:05:32 PMI know a lot of you seem really upset about her actions. I know this woman, and her life has tragically changed in the past couple years. Two years ago she owned a restaurant with her husband. They had custody of his two boys and she seemed really happy and normal. Not long later she ended up having to sell the restaurant because her husband got deported back to Mexico. His sons went back to their birth mother. Being alone she couldn't take care of the restaurant. She ended up having to sell it. I know none of this is an excuse for her actions. But you shouldn't always judge someone until you know the whole story. All the changes that have happened would cause any sane person to be come mentally ill. Her whole life crumbled around her. I know this doesn't make her the best candidate for being a parent. I can understand why she would want a child so desperately. Everything else was taken away, she just wanted something she could hold on to. Yeah she went about it the wrong way, but if she were sane, she might been able to reason with herself.
Posted 09/14/2009 at 12:17:13 PMBullshit, Darcy...you ARE making excuses for this woman. Saying that we should all pity her because of her poor life circumstances is like saying we should feel sorry for the suicide bombers that killed people during 9-11. After all, they didn't MEAN to be indoctrinated into the terrorist cells; they just WERE. No, there comes a time in everyone's life when you have the chance to take the plunge and make a decision, a choice, to do an act that you know may be morally wrong, morally corrupt and goes against civilized society. She made that choice. She could've gotten help. She could've killed herself for all that. No, instead she decided that her own selfish wants were more than adequate to make her feel that she could cause devastation and irreparable harm to that baby, her "supposed" friends and herself.
No, no, we need to make sure that this woman is locked away. For good. She deserves no remorse, no sympathy and no pity. She deserves to be put somewhere where she can't do herself, or anyone else for that matter, any harm.
Posted 09/21/2009 at 11:49:12 PMShouldve joined CPS instead.
