Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it's once again time for another episode of True Crime's Top 5 Creeps of the Week, featuring the most depraved people found in these here United States. We begin this week's countdown with that creepiest brand of creep, the guy who videotapes friends in his own bathroom...
No. 5 James Reed: This Laurelville, Ohio man was a generous host. Whenever guests came to his house, he'd secretly videotape them when they went to the bathroom, just so he could savor the visit later. Police discovered cameras rigged to a vent that produced more than 200 DVDs and videotapes over a decade. One scene showed a 7-year-old girl, and police also found child porn downloaded in his computer. James Reed, say hello to your new cellmate, Big Corky from the Aryan Nation. He'll love to hear how you went perv on all those white women...
No. 4 Shawn Michael Kempf: The 16-year-old's mom apparently didn't want him to use the car. So the Fort Walton Beach, Florida kid -- who naturally has lots of Tupac stuff on his MySpace page -- slammed her head against the vehicle. When police arrived, he continued to play the role of dimestore bad-ass, telling the cops: "You all made a wrong decision. I'm in the mafia
and you guys will get it."
On the way to the jail, he also threatened to rape one of the officer's daughters, describing in detail how he would accomplish the task. Were this a fair and just world, the cops would have beat his ass till he looked like the Elephant Man. Instead, he's been charged with battery and threats against a public servant.
No. 3 Dennis "Dog" Rios: When the reputed Apple Valley, California gangster was arrested at a drug house yesterday, police discovered he had AIDS. They further found that Rios had been having sex with women for 10 years without telling them about the disease. He's now been charged with felony counts of knowingly transmitting the disease, being a huge prick, and not having a very original nickname.
No. 2 Concetta Jackson: The suburban Philadelphia woman operated a home day care. She also had a live-in boyfriend named John Worman, who was a serious pedophile. And now she's been sentenced to 25 years for handing the infants she was entrusted to over to Worman.
When police raided her home, they found 1.2 million images of child porn on Worman's computer, in addition to 11,000 video clips of him sexually abusing children, some as young as six-weeks old. Jackson allowed Worman to put hidden cameras in the bathroom to film the kids. He's already been sentenced to 120 years in the slam, but the couple's expected to renew their courtship when the rot in hell.
No. 1 Herbert J. Houck: Topping this week's list is a not-so-esteemed pathologist whose further employ at the University of Florida may be in question. Dr. Houck had been dating a woman when he married another. But that didn't stop him from jonesing for his former girlfriend. She'd given him a spare key when they were dating, and Houck kept using it to enter her home, even after she'd put up a sign that said "go away."
Yet the doctor wasn't a guy who handled rejection well. He's accused of sneaking into her house, where he found the woman in the shower and sexually assaulted her. Houck claims the sex was consensual, but police aren't buying. Maybe it was the repeated voice mails he left the victim that gave them a clue. On one, cops could hear the doctor saying, "Take that sign down. You know I won't leave you alone."
The pervert pathologist has been charged with sexual assault, stalking, burglary with assault or battery and unarmed burglary.
