Bobby Jamison and His Family Are Missing in Oklahoma

• and also, i just noticed that too, the little girls hair wasn't blonde - they dyed it.very strange. they've either got lost and met a sinister end or they have vanished voluntarily. the money did go back to the family, didn't it? the mother or someone got the money. 

• I think everyone is reading too much into this. there is no one that disliked the family that much that they would want to kill them, let's be honest about it. what's the chances of them encountering someone whilst on that land? sherilyn had a gun and i'm sure she would use it. it seems to me they perished from exposure. Dehydration would likely occur the second day. Leaving everything behind, a reasonable guess is they travelled in an ever widening radius and got lost. They could not find there way back. Predator animals would carry off remains. It is my understanding that terrains of oil slick mud made it all but impossible to learn their fate and this would still be the scenario even is someone did kill them. after all, it was 9+ days before the area was searched.i know it sounds heartless, but nobody has posted this possibility. i really hope i'm wrong and they are somewhere alive.

• absolutely bizzare! first and foremost, if this was to do with drugs and there was a meth lab in that area - why would you kill a family and attract attention to the area? doesn't make sense. the family obviously had greater concerns the fact they left the dog. i think the dog rules out that they got into someone else's vehicle voluntarily. personally dont think they were robbed, unless they had more money with them and the robber(s) didn't feel the need to go to the car because they already thought they had all the money. the fact that the car was there for 9 days amazes me! according to peoples posts they say that any strange car in the area is spotted by locales and is checked out. unfortunately the 9 days will probably prove to be the be all and all for this case, the person who abducted them has had all the time before anyone knew anything. the car as well didnt look like it had a dog in it for 9 days.. the dog after so many days would rip it apart trying to escape. i've read other places that it was a professional hit because bobby was suing his dad, absolute nonsense! no hit squad or person is going to include a child in that. they've either been stalked to that are or encountered someone in that area who has took an interest in them, but then again the sherilyn carried a gun and that gun was clearly on her as its unaccounted for unless the person searched her and removed it from her otherwise i'm sure she would have used it.  this is way too professional - there's something untoward in the sense that the authorities are hiding something, witness protection programme? i dont think they're dead. there's nothing that suggests someone wants them dead. there's no way one person is going to take two adults and a kid! if someone did take them, it was more than one person and it will come out eventually. there's no blood or DNA in the area or signs of struggle - but then again 9 days and the scene was only cordoned off after they found the money! still, there would still be DNA in the area or blood. they are alive somewhere. Keep the faith! prayers to the family and friends and to whom it concerns.

• Just recently came across this case, i watch episodes of disappeared on the crime & investigation channel. i followed and researched the maura murray case which absolutely left me puzzled (for those who dont know, google) and i never thought i'd find a more puzzling  case until i saw this about the jamison family. i've read a lot of the comments on here and one guy in particular called keith, who said he was formerly of the military and headed to Oklahoma to pursue clues and leads which clearly the oklahoma police have failed to accomplish with success, has he made progress? importantly the picture of the little girl, on facebook (http://www.facebook.com/photo.phpfbid=217773414944503&set=o.124182170931194&type=3&theater ) they claim that someone has been photo shopped from the picture, who photo shopped it? they say someone is holding her head? can someone explain this. if we're judging it on this picture alone then something sinister has happened to them, she looks upset, they have encountered someone on that day but it's also quite possible she was upset because they left the dog in the car. i don't understand why more focus wasn't on the picture. it's just so puzzling because once you answer one question you move on to another and it gives you a completely new theory. the lead officer on the disappeared programme said that he  got a psychologist to examine the CCTV footage, why didn't he do that with the picture of the little girl? and also, sherilyn carried a gun which has gone unaccounted for, why would everything else be in the car but the gun?i think the conclusion is simple: they encountered someone when they were about to leave or before they were about to leave and this is  the only person who will ever know what happened to them. i think if there was more people involved then someone would have spoke by now.  is it possible they could have got into someone elses car voluntarily? again, the disappeared programme is so vague about all this so i dont know. but hey! only the people who truly know them can look at the evidence and tell us what jamisons would have done in the situation of being approached whilst leaving. basically, it's 2012 now - is there any new leads?

• Heard of this case when the news broke and I figured I would drop by and see if anything has came of this family. Recently as many may know, men were disappearing and now their bodies are being found. It was a scam using craigs list. Offering a job, but seemed to only want single men who had no ties. They would rob the men and then kill or attempt to kill as one man did survive. I wonder if this case of the Jamisons could be something along those lines, but robbery doesn't fit. I find it strange that no bodies have been located either.

• This is so sad.  My own child was missing for a few days and I almost went crazy.  She was taken . She was tricked.  I believe the sheriff did a great job look for the family and needs to continue. He seem heart broken too. I have a point of not ruling out anything. You may think you know everything about your loved one but you don't. That does not make them bad by far but everyone reacts differently in different situations. As far as the money I have heard of things like this happening. They may have had way more money in the vehicle and the kidnappers took almost all of it since they were in a hurry. As for the empty tank. I don't think the wife did anything. I believe the people that took them could have put them in the tank and took them out.  I saw these things as soon as I saw the episode as soon as it air. I hope to God the family is found. Everyone wants their family back alive and well.

• the tracking dogs followed the scent to a water tank and went crazy with the scent and then lost it from there so i think whoever was responsible must have forced them to walk up to the water tank and disabled/killed them or just the parents and then used plenty of water to wash away the scent (i have read that if it rains or if someone  crosses a stream then tracking dogs loose the scent)

• This episode is on right now and will air again at 10pm CST tonight in Investigation Discovery Channel. Check for your local listings. By the way, this family was murdered by that border (racist handyman) who Bobby hired to help with the house work.  They were planning to sell the house and they told this man where they were thinking about relocating to and their neighbors knew about this as well. The only person who knew of their plans intimately was the handyman who LIVED with them.  He lived with them and threatened Sherilyn ONE month before they disappeared. ALSO, Sherilyn SHOT at this man to force him off their property. If she had to use a gun to aim and shoot at this handyman who threatened Sherilyn for having Native American blood in her heritage and the handyman LEFT his medication in their vehicle (this is how the FBI figured out his name ) then not ONLY was he the SUSPECT, but very well likely the individual who was most likely involved HEAVILY into their disappearance. Just because he has an abili DOES NOT mean that he was not involved. The very fact that he had an alibi should suggest that he knew that he HAD to be prepared to have an alibi. They need to investigate HOW Bobby Jamison met this man. IF Bobby met this man through neighbors or within their community, THEN, the person who referred Bobby to this person also knew when they were going to look at that property on that particular day coupled along with the fact that BEFORE the incident had taken place of exchange of racist views, this handyman KNEW where they were going and where they would be. This was a planned attack and this kidnapping DID NOT take place on the property or the mountain. There were NO DRUGS associated with this family. That handyman knew that Bobby was handicapped in the first place and to have their little girl with them made them extremely vulnerable to this rogue element. Sherilyn, unfortunately, was the target of their disappearance. Scumbag thugs like this handyman who threatened an innocent and reserved woman and her child are more than SUSPECT. The FBI would do better to surveillance this man much more and keep him at the TOP of the list. There were TWO crime scenes and they had better simply take the chance and allow the DA to press on this and to investigate the individuals who referred this man to Bobby, because they ALSO KNOW what has happened to this family. The fact that this handyman was so difficult to locate should be evident that he was hiding or keeping a low profile. Remember, this man threatened her life and she shot at him ONE MONTH BEFORE they disappeared. This is not HAPPENSTANCE, this is MURDER and a very well covered one at that. There are more who are involved and this handyman did not do this alone. They were accosted by more than 2-3 people and they had a van and they needed to control the little girl. They were unarmed, no cellphone. This was nothing more than a hate crime and the local law enforcement should take this case in the direction of that handyman. PLEASE STAND UP FOR THIS FAMILY IN THE NAME OF JESUS. That medicine bottle belonging to that handyman was a sign and this is a direction NOT to give up on. All married couples have arguments even to the point of heated hatred, but it was obvious that this was not the case between them. This family has met with foul play and they must go BACK to that racist handyman. He caused their disappearance!!!!!

• i do not believe they were into drugs but may have stumbled onto something in this area, where they do grow a lot of marijuana and will kill you if you stumble upon it. my dtep dad was out hunting int he mountains down in that area and came up on a outhouse and was gonna use the bathroom there and when he opened the door it was full of marijuana hanging for drying and said the hair stood up on the back of his neck and he got the hell out of there quickly...so they may not have had anything to do wit it except disturb something that was going on the land they were looking at.

• Ty, your second theory is more likely , however, with a twist over the first theory. You have got to watch that show "Disappeared". This case will be re-aired This Friday June 3rd. And it will be on twice: 7-8pm CST and 10-11pm on ID Discovery channel. This program is pretty conclusive and may allow you to review other possibilities of this case. This is a more intimate viewpoint and much more intelligently produced. A Non-Nancy Grace Production.

• No we do not want Nancy Grace doing this case...Nancy Grace will cause people NOT to care with the constant every day bombardment of this case.  I believe that they are investigating this case in the manner that they need to with out driving everyone under ground. The FBI may already have a strong idea of who this is and too much televised coverage may harm the outcome of this case. Nancy Grace tends to get the wrong people arrested or those who should NOT be suspected. Nancy Grace is not a detective and really,neither are we. We are concerned people who are throwing out our theories because we care. This is not a show or entertainment, this is heartbreaking and not everything should be a Nancy Grace production. 

• Their family and friends insist that the Jamison family were not drug dealers or addicts. There is no evidence of such and there never was. This was a family who just wanted to live their lives and work out their issues. Whatever happened to them, they did not deserve. People usually throw in the "drug" angle to feel safer in calling others a "drug addict or dealer". We cannot seem to accept that this is a very evil ass world and even decent people are caught up in the mess and prejudice of others. They lived an isolated life and they were intimidated by people (most likely their neighbors or the people in this town) which is most likely why they were trying to get the hades away from others who kept gossiping about their lives. People are very territorial and invasive these days . This was a evil and horrible thing and all of us should know by now that they are not alright or not in hiding. They were not "strange" people or "bad" people. However, whoever harmed them were the BAD people and most likely the strange people whom they were trying to move away from.

• This is no drug case angle. This was personal. It was sadly personal. This case is re-airing on Friday on ID (Investigation Discovery Channel) and will come on a second time. The program is called "Disappeared" and will show re-runs on CST 7-8pm and again 10-11pm (check your local time and channel). I think that many of you will have a better feel of the town, the investigation and the position of how their truck/suv was positioned.  The Meth "lab" question will be answered by the family and the their friend. This was a family who was being intimidated and bothered for Ms. Jamison to suspect that her cat was poisoned and that she sprayed her dumpster with that particular statement that she was a "witch" which we know that she clearly wasn't. Ms. Jamison and her family wanted to be free to live as they wished and they felt that they were not able to do so.  There is so  much more to this case than the typical outcome, this is a very evil set of circumstances and many more of the locals know a lot more about what happened to this family than people are letting on.

• Absolutely! Mr. Jamison intended to purchase on that day, but why not a certified check? Could it be that they knew this person locally or that this person "pretended" to own the property and that they knew the original owners enough to claim that it was their property or acted on behalf in a misleading fashion. I sense that there are so many more involved in this.

• Blindbowman: this is EXACTLY what I have thought all along and I mentioned as much in my posts above, However, your in-depth research adds to the fact that whoever had anything to do with the whereabouts of the Jamison family. ALSO, (speculation, however, experienced by the pattern of events of past crime research and education) this family is a unique family who largely kept to themselves and the manner in how they disappeared leads to this possible outcome: This has to do with the original suspect who threatened Ms. Jamison OR possibly having to do with the neighbors (not pointing out any particular neighbor as this would be unfair) however, a closed group of people who privately meet with one another (on the program "Disappeared" ) there appeared to be some overall prejudice over their lifestyle and supposition over how they lived.  Sometimes, the proof is in our faces and some  are keeping this very quiet due to the fact that a child is involved (I would not be surprized oif others have been threatened to keep quiet about this) or have some second-hand knowledge about their whereabouts.  There had to be two sets of lookout pointmen and the individuals KNEW that Bobby could not fight back due to his auto injury. Only some one (or some small group of 4-5 individuals in an enclosed van and who circled this family on the property by foot) who could harm a child would have to be from a set of people who held some very prejudicial beliefs of Ms. Jamison's admitted heritage and of the fact that she spray painted on the dumpster about her being a "witch".  How come NO one heard any screams? This family was TAKEN out of the area and the crime scene is possibly 20-30 miles from the property. This family is buried or possibly worse. This was no drug angle or else the money in that car would have come up missing and the dog would have been free to roam around.  This incident happened while they were already out of the car and way into the property. They were not lost. They felt comfortable enough to leave their phone in the car and their money and their dog and so much more. They intended on returning right away or else the camera would have been on Ms. Jamison's person.  As far as the photo, I really do believe that Ms. Jamison took the photo herself and that her daughter was just tired from all of the walking that they were doing earlier. A criminal would have kept the camera if "they" had taken the photo for memories of the crime.  Whoever did this has done this before and has done this before many years ago in a different settingWhoever did this has a paranoid character which is shared and were "scared" or threatened by the individualism of this family and may as well have been somewhat envious of their reserved nature and confidence in not desiring to be involved with the status-quo of gossiping and invasiveness. This was not a crime of opportunity , but of some petty and arrogant vengeance type of reaction to the family. This is an innocent modern family and would have been fine to most others anywhere else in the United States. The persons involved have some sort of bizarre and peculiar ideas of how "folks" should act in "their" town or neighborhood. The person or persons has a strange and territorial manner about their personality and it is a collective behavior which borders on a bully mentality if not very much so. This was personal. Very personal.This crime had to be committed by individuals who were unemployed at the time of this crime, who had extensive knowledge of their movements and very well may have been that particular "handiman" that they hired who KNEW others in the neighborhood. That handiman had too clean and perfect of an alibi to have distanced himself far enough to "NOT" be considered a suspect. Whoever did this kidnapped this family in a second enclosed van type vehicle in the middle of the property very much where you described, however, on the opposite side of the property. Also, law enforcement may not find this family on the property alone. Whoever did this wanted to teach this family some sort of a "towns justice style lesson" and may have tortured this family elsewhere with Ms. Jamison in mind for the attack. Someone needs to perform a forensic behavior analysis of the town's overall behavior and outlook on past families or individuals who may have had similar threatening encounters with those who have lived there for a number of years. There is often a "leader" (though not overt) who is understood to be the "dictator" of the block or the town itself. Your clues will be local and within the individuals who live within the area of their home. This is much more than it appears and I will have more of what I suspect later.   I am curious as to what others may suspect. Psychic as well elementary. The only way to solve this case is to think like the persons who could have committed this crime. Remember, you cannot think about it based on a "normal" or mere "logical" standpoint because the case is illogical and the crime is possible even more so.

• Have the AUTHORITIES Investigated ALL of the PROPERTIES that were LISTED FOR SALE at the Time of the Dissapearence,in that AREA.Checked the CELL Numbers for Last Number CALLED or RECEIVED,and Make Sure their is NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY in the AREA,Maybe the SEEN SOMETHING that Someone Did'nt WANT them to SEE.ALSO,WHY Carry 32k Dollars in CASH,Unless you INTEND to BUY Something,Possibly LAND,Maybe Owner Financed,or Maybe that KKK Dude Set them UP.The AUTHORITIES Should INVESTIGATE ALL Possiblities.

• Valley, read what I thought about that "border". He is HIGHLY suspect and they should not completely rule this man out. People like this rarely operate alone and have friends who share his views.

• I heard that the dog was rescued. This case is featured on " Disappeared" on ID channel. Also, this case is very, very strange in that they supposed (the townspeople) that they were on drugs and you can tell that they weren't and that it was not fair that they could not defend these accusations. I really think that the one guy who worked for the Jamison family and threatened Sherilynn has some distal role in this regardless of his alibi. This jerk had help and it had to take more than one person to control this family and to do whatever was done to them. The FBI really should consider surveillance on some of the original individuals that the local police interviewed or suspected. This was well thought out and what it appears is that they were accosted somewhere along that path. Whoever did this KNEW this family as that particular path is such an isolated area. I sense that they were followed and watched even from their home and were threatened by their isolation (as most neighbors can be strange that way). This is someone who knew their daily movements and planned this incident for awhile.  There has to be a number of people who are aware of what happened. Where they lived just appeared unfriendly and very invasive. It bothers me that this family could just not be left alone and it saddens me that they felt that they need to seclude themselves even more so to the point where they cannot be found. Someone knows something in that town. This is an entire family!!!

• Also, from other information I have read and connections I believe I have made through researching criminal histories and backgrounds and documents of land ownership I think one very likely suspect who needs checked into would be know as SH.

• I have been haunted day and night by this case since I first heard of it. I have never even been to Oklahoma yet I find myself completely invested in trying to understand everything I can about the Jamisons and anyone who could be of interest in the case as well as their connections. I have even been looking up past events in the lives of people pertaining to the Jamisons as well as past arrests or law suits. I have also researched addresses for people that knew them and could have had motive to compare the distance from where the truck was located. I have also studied other significant events in the area that made the news. I have even compared the distances between where the truck was found with other places of interest I have seen mentioned on blogs and other crimes and cases of missing people within a 100 mile radius. It does seem like there are just an abundance of leads that could be considered as well as people are always coming up with even more scenarios to add. Unfortunately it saddens me that after all this time there still is no new tips or evidence arising to help nudge the people working on the case to further explore any of them. From what I can see from reading all these blogs and news sites it seems to me like the sherriff's department and FBI are just sitting on their hands and not even attempting to solve this case anymore. I think they could at least determine to follow a few leads that seem most likely if they would actually dig and attempt to find more. It's like they did a search, searched the vehicle and house, interviewed a few people and oh well we found too much and we got overwhelmed so now we will just sit around and wait for someone to come forward and just solve the case for us. What the hell?!!!! From what I can see through reading all the information I can find I don't even think they interviewed all the people who could possibly be of interest. I really think that if they are not currently pushing deeper into investigating the money trail as many people keep mentioning then that is one lead they should definetely try to rule out. Also, I have noticed through my hours of reading and researching trying to gather as much different and varied information as I can that, at the time the Jamison's went missing there were a few other big events happening as well. I have seen numerous blogs where people keep mentioning all the court events related to Bobby's family that went down around that time to help back up the money trail scenario. But, I have not noticed anyone considering a possible lead in my opinion that I feel is definetely worth some investigating. Around the time that the Jamison's disappeared there were two seperate and major drug busts in Eufala. The DEA was involved in these. These two are just all I have found in my searches so far. I found that they used undercover officers during these investigations which leads me to believe they may have had informants as well. But, even if they did not I feel that it's possible people who did get arrested in the raids (which were both related to manufacture of methamphetamine and one also involved cocaine and marijuana) may have started to realize something was going on or were just overly paranoid due to the drug and may have started becoming suspicious of people. People on these drugs have been known to due many a crazy thing. The reports about these mentioned that they were very large rings that actually connected to a few other states as well. From the information inn the news articles I read the investigation was being conducted for months before the Jamison's disappeared and the raids happened just after. I have read the names of those indicted in each one and I read at least 4 names of individuals in one operation of people who were all from Eufala. Not only were they from the same town as Bobby and Sherilyn but those 4 names jumped out at me like I had read them before in articles and blogs related to the missing family. I believe that those people may in some way have a connection to the family or friends of the family. I am only speculating however because I have never even been to the state and never heard of any of these people until first seeing reports of this missing family. But, with the fact that the threat from KB and Sherilyn's retaliation happening only a few weeks before the disappearance and the discovery of his past arrest for manufacturing and the fact that he had been living with them just makes this seem like a possible lead to try and determine if they could in any way be connected. Also, KB's last known address and as far as his one short interview with the police he lives suspiciously close to where the truck was located. And does it not seem suspicious that there were so many people right in the town where they live while KB was living with them that got busted for the same thing he had previously been arrested for? Also, one more thing I can't seem to stop thinking about. The land they were supposed to be interested in buying is extremely secluded. The friends and family say it fits them because they are extremely private people. Is it possible it could fit them for other reasons too? Is it possible that they had friends involved in manufacturing that would have had a perfect place to do so had they bought this land? Just some things that I think need to at least be considered.

• there is also a case like this involving a family about the same ages of the parents in this case and there 3 and 4 year old boys. there house was found with money and popcorn on the couch as well as eggs still on the counter and there 2 dogs out back with no food or water. there truck was found abandoned with the boys car seats still in it and all there id etc was all found not touched. why are there 3 cases with family all disapeared this on is the mcstay family then the Szczepanki family and the jamison family. i just pray they are all ok and all the familys will be found one day safe.

• I also saw this story on Disappeared, and I find it haunting and frustrating as well. There are all these little bits and pieces of information that all seem to lead in different directions. My guess is that the money in the truck was intended for a land purchase. It makes sense that people who want to live "off the grid" would want to do an informal cash transaction rather than involve an attorney, real estate agent, etc. Then either the person they were meeting to buy the land or someone else abducted them. I don't write off the involvement of the white supremacist carpenter, either. I don't feel like we know the whole story there, but it seems like he is the main person with a motive. The clip of the Bobby and Sherilyn walking back and forth from the truck to the house is extremely creepy. I wish we knew what they were carrying. It does seem to suggest that they were frightened or under extreme stress. I know that drug use has been mentioned as a factor, but that just doesn't feel right to me. Wouldn't a drug dealer who killed someone in a bad deal want the bodies to be found as a message to other dealers and customers? This feels to me more personal and more premeditated. I'd love to hear other people's thoughts!

• I have watched the program a few times,what catches my attention is the problem they were having with troublesome spirits,the home they lived in could have been haunted by negative spirits that could have influenced some strange activity including the odd behavior when packing truck,passing each other as many as twenty times without acknowledging each other!I Wonder what else the negative spirits could have influenced them to do! I know this is a possibility.Im surprised no one else has touched on this subject.I can understand two adults not interacting with each other,especially if they are angry with one another,but not a child! The sheriff said they never acknowledged one another. They show a short clip of this and even the child totally ignores her parents! REALLY VERY STRANGE BEHAVIOR!!

• I have just finished watching Disappeared on ID. It was about the sad, and strange, disappearance of the Jamison family over a year ago. There are many posts on this site, and many theories and guesses as to what actually happened to the Jamisons. The "child selling scam that backfired" put forth by The Way It Played was quite ingenious, but it seems in my opinion that the parents wouldn't agree to have the meeting take place out in the wilds of OK, an area they were not familiar with. It also seems that they seemed to be financially secure. They had a large, well furnished lakefront home, and owned a nice late model truck, even though Bobby has been unable to work since 2003. The show never mentioned his place of employment. It would have been interesting to know. The show also mentioned possible drug involvement, but the FBI searched their house, and if the FBI foung nothing, it aint there. A previous post by Disheartened focuses on the home's surveillance video, showing them loading the truck in an almost robotic state. I think Disheartened has some good ideas, and that there may have been someone else at the house, who managed to stay unseen by the camera. That would suggest that that person was well acquainted with the Jamison's property. It is a sad fact, but 90% of people who are murdered are done so by people they know. Another interesting fact brought out in the show was that their truck was found heading DOWN from the mountain, suggesting that they were leaving, not arriving, when whatever happened to them occurred. My prayers go out to the Jamison family, and hope they're able to find closure someday.

• Only three reasons I can think of that they would leave dog, wallet, purse, cellphones when left car: 1. Expecting to come right back in a couple of minutes. Bathroom stop, saw something. Then something tragic occurred. 2. They never planned on coming back (murder/suicide by one or both of parents) 3. They were already stopped, sitting in car, when approached by someone who pulls a gun and abducts them. First, it's NOT drug deal, child trafficking. People involved in any of these likes money and does bad things for money. They are not going to abduct people but leave purses wallets, etc. It is NOT revenge or white supremicist tenant. Revenge is a crime of passion. They would have been attacked in their home. And if followed they would have used cellphone (if possible) leave a note, use their gun. But no sign of struggle. Lastly, taking their belongings would have been part of the revenge. So only things left in my mind are: 1. Accident in woods 2. Encounter w psychopath who initially seemed to need help or seemed friendly 3. Murder/suicide 4. Strange plan by parents to leave everything behind and head off into woods. She was bipolar and he was seeing spirits so who knows. He was asking what kind of bullets that can kill spirits. Number three seems most likely to me but strange that no bodies ever found. They exhibit quite a bit of strange behavior before the disappearance. She brings 11 pages of notes on her unhappiness in marriage. Gun is missing so she most likely brought that too. Very strange and sad case and I don't think it is simple at all. My questions: 1. What exactly were they packing in their car for so long? 2. Did the police check their computers to see recent google searches etc? 3.recent phone calls? 2. What was in the car that was packed and what was missing?

• I've just watched the story of the Jamisons on ID, and have some things to point out that people have failed to mention or even consider. First and foremost, everyone is forgetting about the security video from their home cameras the day they packed up the truck to leave.Does no one find it ridiculously weird that in the video, we see both Bobby and Sherilyn go in and out of the house 22 times (as they reported), without so much as interacting with one another? Also, what were they packing in that truck while they went in and out all those times from the house to the truck? And even more scarily, where was their daughter at the time this was all happening? Or the dog? Dogs take any opportunity to run in and out of the house, around the garden, etc - and was Madyson not being watched in this time? The first thought that came to my mind was that someone else was in that house. Howcome they didn't dust the house down for fingerprints to see if there were any suspicious fingerprints around the house? I know this may sound ridiculous to some, but I am more than 100 percent sure that someone else was in that house, and if I can piece the situation together, I'd say someone went in, was holding Madyson threatening to kill her, and told them what to do and what to pack in the van. This is the only thing that would explain their eerie and rigid movements to and from the van. Their lack of interaction with one another. I know they were not on good terms with each other but guys think of it, if you were packing up your van with your family for a trip to the mountains or wherever to see land, why would you do it so solemnly? Why go through with the trip at all if it wasn't to do it "as a family" to have a good day altogether? This does not make sense, think of it. Someone was threatening them, sneaked in back and out back and followed them or got picked up at another location and continued with them to where the truck was left. Also, did the police mention anything about seeing on the surveillance video that they picked up madyson from the house and put her in the van? There is something very suspicious about this, and not normal whatsoever about their behavior while packing up the truck. Also, did the police pinpoint or notice what objects were being taken to the van? That would prove weather or not they had the bag of cash prior getting into the van,or got it afterwards. This shit does not add up, something is wrong with the way the police have dealt with this issue, they are NOT being thorough. The main piece of evidence in all this is not the truck, is not the dog, is not the bag of money, it is the SURVEILLANCE VIDEO from the house. Please, to the Jamison family: you need to get the video and take to a specialist, preferably someone OUTSIDE town, outside the state even, someone who is separate from everything that has happened, someone who couldn't be covering shit up, weather it be corruption or a form of robbery, or anything of that sort. Remember, most often than not, when it comes to issues of money and drugs, the authorities and police have alot more information than you think, and a lot more than they're willing to ever expose. Please do not be naive and put full trust in them, there are HUGE gaps in this story and in their investigation. And I urge you to look into this tape, I feel it will tell you more than you think. Madyson's uncomfortable picture and pose also adds to my theory that someone was holding her hostage as a threat to Bobby and Sherilynn to get them to do what he/she wanted them to do. And also, they mentioned footprints in the sand, why didnt they follow through with the footprints? Did they just suddenly stop in the middle of the sand? Im telling you guys, something is not right about the investigation, not just the disappearance altogether. This is by far the weirdest and eeriest disappearance I have ever heard about - I honestly have serious chills and goosebumps thinking of it, it is truly like they disappeared out of thin air. My prayers go out to the Jamison family and friends. Please do not give up, but look into the investigation files and the surveillance tape at the house - things do not add up. • Trying to understand... When I say "we", I am refering to a group of us that served together in the military. I also have a relative that is the lead investigator for the DAs office here. Their are several of us that are working this from different angles. As for most of you on here, the only information you have is from the show that was on tv. As most tv shows, they only tell you enough information to keep you glued to tv. There are many other clues that were not put on that show that we are following up. I can not and will not go into detail as to what we have found. I do believe there is much more to this story than what most believe right now. As for most of you, you all have your own theories as to what may have happened. Well that is what we are going off of... what we think may have happened. That is not to say we are right or we are wrong. But cases like this need to be looked at from every possible angle. I know you can't elaborate on much, but can you tell us if you found out anything while you were there? How long were you in OK? Also, since it seems neither side of the family is in the public much, (besides Sherilyns BF Niki) which side of the family are you able to work with on this? Sherilyns or Bobbys? • Thanks to everyone for their e mails. We have left the area for now due to the weather. We have been in contact with the family for those of you who keep asking. We are uncovering as much as we can. As soon as we get a break in the weather, we plan on heading back. For now we will what we can from home. • I; like everyone posting here,am sickened by what's happened to this family and have read many different therories. However;The "drug deal gone bad" doesn't seem plausable because it seems to me it could have been easily solved just by checking the "last phone calls" made outgoing and incoming to their cell phones. Things would have added up to that therory. It seems far more likely...it was a stranger showing up on the road they were on... it does seem more likely it "was" someone local....or visiting someone local. Someone seeing them driving off into the backroads in that area. It was a crime of opportunity. It wasn't to rob them..as their truck would have been emptied. That leaves either a sex crime... or a sick thrill kill. If they got "lost" while taking a hike.... they would have been found... they were driven away from that area by someone that someone in that area "knows". I pray that this family can find closure.... And I pray that someone will have the "courage" to come forward with any knowledge or concerns about someone they know that could have something to do with this family being taken.

• The Jamison case is very similar to a family missing here in San Diego County, California of the McStay family. The same details like this case, no money transactions, dogs starving, and they left with popcorn bowls still on the couch like they were going to return any moment. There was a neighbors surveillance camera that captured their car backing out of the driveway, but it did not show who was driving. I wonder if there are other families besides these two missing. Someone should look for a correlation.

• I just spent the last couple of hours reading everything on this site-saw the show last nite on ID Disappeared. Really baffling! Looking forward to any additional info Keith comes up with. For the family-what a horrible, frustrating, torturous thing to live with-I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

• I've spent some time in those mountains and know its easy to get lost. But I've always carried my gps with me and made it out fine. Reports are a gps unit was found in the truck. If they'd simply gone for a walk in unfamiliar terrain, wouldn't they likely have carried the gps with them?

• I realize the authorities ruled out the guy who had stayed with the Jamisons and was made to leave at gunpoint, but I have to keep coming back to him. Just because he has an alibi, he may have paid someone to "seek vengeance". Also, in many cases, what was thought to be a rock hard alibi has turned out to be false. People lie to protect their own and themselves. I just have to think this guy wasn't going to let this go without some type of retaliation.
