Suspicions first arose October 14. Detectives discovered that Sheward may have been using her son's troop as a dating pool. They accuse her of not only having an affair with the 16-year-old, but possibly having relations with another scout.
Sheward was a member of a committee that ran the troop and helped plan activities. Since the 16-year-old was too young to make their relationship consensual, she's been charged with sexual assault, and additional charges may still be coming.
16 too young to be consensual for a guy? Lucky bastards, I was trying to have consensual sex with MILFs (she would not have been one mind you) since I was 13! non consensual my ass...

In this case, no adult can have sex with a minor (the age of which changes from state to state). It's not necessarily a question of trauma but it certainly could be depending on the relative maturity level of the minor in question; however, exploitation is exploitation and it does not matter if the exploited was a male or a female. No doubt, those having vicarious sex with the boy scout leader would feel differently if they were parents and the scout leader were a man or the exploited was the daughter of one of the troglodytes hootin' and ahollerin' about "how this never happened to me" when I was a boy! Grow up, already.
