Comment of the Day: Does Lisa Pattison's Murder Lead to Marion, Indiana Government?

"Basically what I am trying to say here is that in Indiana there are no qualifications to be a cororner. You just have to beat the other guy in the election. After that just do so many hours per year in training. The Grant County Coroner is not a doctor or anywhere close. He is a good guy though. Qualified to rule homicide by pressure being applied to weight I am not sure, but he is a good person.
"If the ex-assistant mayor of Marion is so innocent in this, why was she given immunity from prosecution to testify before the grand jury? As far as I know simply being a mistress or an adultress is a moral issue, not punishable in a court of law. So what did she do that she could have been charged for? Conspiracy, aididing and abetting?"
"Maybe she is the one that applied pressure to the weights if that is what happened. It doesn't take a person of strength to apply pressure. What could she have been charged with? Makes me wonder.
"This could just be an accident and happned the way Scott Patison said it did. Maybe Mrs. Pattison just got tried and the weights fell and she could not remove them in time. It looks like there was not a spotter there with her. This happened just recently with an NFL player.

"Maybe he is telling the truth. Maybe not. The closest hospital to his house is in Wabash not Marion. Maybe all this is why the Wabash prosecuter called for a grand jury to make the decision for him because he was not sure of all the evidence and getting too much political pressure from Grant County for charges to be pressed against Mr. Pattison."
