| The delay in reporting her disappearance could be critical to this case |
"I have some questions about this! Why would the friends leave her at an out-of-town concert? Why wouldn't they have reported her missing? Why was it that her parents weren't notified that she was missing? This gave whomever/whatever a huge head start on the disappearing thing...
"On the battery missing from the phone, I can only assume it was removed to keep it from being pinged for GPS location, giving another head start on the disappearing thing. I'm not saying this girl left on her own or if she was abducted. I have read several articles regarding Morgan gone missing and there are too many opposing variables in information. i.e., she drove, her friends drove, she called friends and said she was getting a ride home, friends said they got separated, friends say the reported her missing that night, father said he reported her missing next day... would be nice to have information verified for clarification!"

I'd would also like to know how the friends got home. Morgan's car was found in the parking lot. Wouldn't they have walked back to the car and realize something wasn't right?
Posted 10/22/2009 at 02:06:07 AMYes, this is very strange about the car. Doesnt make sense and all these very imortant details need to be clarified.
Posted 10/22/2009 at 06:20:52 AMIt was released that it was not her car found in the parking lot. Her friend drove to the show. her car was left at jmu. i know this cause she is my niece's best friend. my niece didnt go to the show that night and the friends that did are horrified. please keep your prayers going for her safe homecoming! thank you all
Posted 10/22/2009 at 07:30:19 AMSometimes its a matter of miscommunication, crowd noise, or simply getting separated in the eddies as crowds ebb and flow. Did one of the group suddenly spy a tee-shirt vendor or a bathroom or an acquaintance?
Posted 10/22/2009 at 01:25:54 PMSome friends. If she was not in the concert they should have made sure they talked to her afterwards. If someone had called for help that same night, maybe they would have been able to locate her. I would hope my friends would care enough to check on my well being. Either they know something they are not sharing, or just self absorbed.
Posted 10/22/2009 at 03:09:18 PMNews reports have some Odd facts. She & friends drove her car to the arena. Yet she calls friends when she is outside and can't get back in and tells friends that she will get a ride home? What?!!!! She doesn't have the keys to her own car? It's like a cardinal rule for all young women - ALWAYS have your keys on you. She got outside, without her car keys but with her purse and no one brought her keys to her?!!!! She had her purse outside, but she didn't have her own car keys?!!!! News makes it seem like she made one phone call to her friends. That's odd! An average young woman would have made 7-8 phone calls if locked out. One of those calls would have been to her friends to demand someone bring her her keys. I mean, how is she suppose to get into her house once she gets home or retriev her car? One phone call would have been to let Mom & Dad know she was stranded (if all else failed). She told her friends that she would "catch a ride." Oh, no she did not. She is too much like a young me for me to buy that one. She is not a person that would "catch a ride" anywhere. And the friends just left her there?!!! Even before the main act came on?!!!! What kind of friends are these? The kind that Just don't give a rip? Girls that are friends for sure don't do that. What? - they just said "Okay, see ya later." That is CREEPY!---NO WAY! Even a lame group of friends would have sent 2 or 3 downstairs, preferrably with the tickets, to try to get Morgan back in. They definitely would have spoken to someone at the door or at the office, or a guard so their friend would not miss the main act. Girls try to finagle things if they get messed up. But instead her friends said "Yeah, okay - We've got your keys, we'll drive your car home later - have a nice life figuring out how your going to get home." Even Creepier! And not one of her friends called her that night to see if she had made it home or to wherever?! --- But --- They drove her car home without a care --- Knowing that she was stranded outside? That dog doesn't hunt. I mean listen to what you're saying. The way it reads in the news is just down right BIZZARE! Her friends sure do not sound like any friends I know! What kind of friends have a total lack of concern even though they are in possession of access to the vehicle.
Posted 10/24/2009 at 06:39:01 PMI pray to GOD they find her alive. But those "friends" are a piece of work! Who tells a story like that and makes it the least bit believable? I hope they have the account of the friends wrong, because if they don't --- Those are not friends. Those are self-absorbed users.
Geez... this is an awful situation. I don't know too much about how this all happened, but I'm sure Morgan's friends are deeply concerned and probably could use some support rather than being criticized. Let's just all pray, or whatever you do in times like these, that Morgan returns safely.
Posted 10/26/2009 at 09:23:54 PMI've read all about Morgan on the websites, and heard about her on t.v. This is a Really Horrible thing... I attended 3doors down in concert, don't know if its like this with Metallica or not but with 3doors down when they come on stage everybody on the floor rushes up to the front of the stage, like its a stampede. Now a days you can't really go nowhere without watching your own back, crime wasn't no where near this bad 10years ago. Based on the reports from the news that I have read on Morgan I would say somebody was stalking her and kidnapped her after she couldn't get back in the arena.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all Morgan's Family and Friends who are all having a great deal with Morgan's Disappearance.
Posted 10/28/2009 at 03:12:02 AMI agree. Her friends are liars!! They know more than what they are saying. I cannot believe the police are letting this slip through their hands.
Posted 11/22/2009 at 08:37:33 PMYou are right the friends know more than what there saying, When her pocket book was found immediately it should of been treated as an abduction. There are so many stories that she was hitch hiking on the bridge that is not even a place to hitch hike wouldn't she go to a main street. How about the basket ball players that were seen with her? There are so many holes in this situation the chances of getting to the truth of the matter doesn't look good. Maybe the renowned known psycic Lorraine who has helped bring closure to alot of cases FBI police in other areas it can't hurt. We will continue to pray for Morgan and Morgans mother and father. Power of Prayer people
Posted 11/23/2009 at 05:59:49 PMI agree that the initial reports the public received were vague and confusing. My spouse works in forensics and says that it's normal for the media to be given limited/false info in order to "weed out" people coming forward with false leads, etc (i.e. attention seekers). I just hope the police have something solid they can use to find Morgan. It would be interesting to know if anyone has searched the train tracks, and not necessarily just around the arena. Maybe I've watched Stand By Me one too many times, but I think it's worth it to look there. At any rate, my family is praying for Morgan, her family and all the other missing persons out there. God speed.
Posted 11/24/2009 at 12:09:24 PMSeems odd, first Brittannee Drexel (spring break) now Morgan Harrington (concert) thing in common: 1. large group of partying young people, 2. both young and blond, 3. just a couple of hundred miles apart. If it were me I would look at any other young blond girls missing on the east coast and look at their similarities and the events surrounding their disappearances. Neither of these young ladies has been found nor has a body been found matching either ones discription. It would be interesting to find out if there are any others missing with the same M.O.
Posted 12/31/2009 at 06:09:07 PMIt is a sad day in this country when anyone is killed or murdered. I think there is a lot of un-answered questions as far as what do her Tech, JMU, UVA friends and her family knows that hasn't been released. As we all know the Police won't say alot to protect the case, but lets not leave any stone un-turned or go question everyone. Sometimes even us parents have to come clean about our own kids. This is either a tricks for stash or meet up gone bad. Once you have a dead body, anyone could ride around in the country to find a place to dump it. Head down 29 and you could find a 100 places to dump a body. You need to focus on the Tech or JMU friends. They know more than they are telling.
