Georgia investigators say they're making progress in the missing persons case of Kristi Cornwell, a 38-year-old woman who vanished in August. Kristi was walking near her home in Blairsville, Georgia and talking on the phone to her boyfriend when she was apparently abducted.

The phone, along with some of her personal items, were found three miles away from where she disappeared. (See original story here.)

Detectives aren't specifying what constitutes progress, but they have demonstrated a massive effort in the case. No less than 17 agencies are involved in the investigation. They've search on foot and via ATV and horseback. They're especially looking for two vehicles seen in the area at the time of the kidnapping.
