Police Say Rape, Robbery Was the Motive in Gee Family Massacre

The slaying of a family of five in Beason, Illinois just gets more depraved. Police now say Christopher Harris and his brother Jason went to the Gee family home last month armed with tire irons, intent upon robbery and raping a 16-year-old girl -- who just happened to be his former sister-in-law...

Raymond "Rick" Gee, his wife, Ruth, and three of their children -- ages 11-16 -- were all beaten to death by severe blows to their heads. Another three year old daughter was also beaten but survived.

Christopher Harris, 30, is the former husband but still on-again, off-again boyfriend of the Gee's adult daughter Nicole, who hasn't been implicated. He was reportedly still living with Nicole during the time he's accused of slaughtering her family.

Prosecutors now say the Harris brothers went to the home that day to rape 16-year-old Justina. They also took a computer.

Together the brothers now face a whopping 139 counts, ranging from first degree murder and attempted sexual assault to obstructing justice because Jason burned their clothes and hid the computer as police closed in. Jason's girlfriend and her mom also face obstruction charges.

they had to be on meth or some sort of drug for days... no one just wakes up one morning and decided to brutal murder a whole family just because... i can't image the terror and immense suffering and shear panic this family went through as they say each other brutally murdered. i feel a strong amount of pain/anger and i am just getting more and more pissed off at deveant criminals and murders like this. our justice system is A COMPLETE AND UTTER JOKE AND IS JUST AWEFUL. when crimes are this severe, they should be flogged, and crucified (no disrepect to God or Jesus.) and it should be done very very quickly. i am sick to my corp of scum sucking low life criminals. i just burn w/anger...
This happened locally. Christopher Harris had the audacity to show up at the family's funeral. You forgot to mention that Nicole Gee has so far denied that her ex-husband did this. She's standing by him, despite all the evidence.

Hmmm, this still doesn't really speak of motive. Taking tire irons with them dictates premeditation of harming them for whatever reason. I think the raping of the sister must have been an afterthought fueled by the psycopaths rage at beating to death the parents. The computer sounds like a stupid afterthought to make it look like a burglary. Are these two inbred? They sure acted stupid enough to be!
