None of the countries listed have stricter gun legislation than the U.S. I fail to see how you could draw your conclusions from this data. You could much more easily conclude that less gun legislation leads to more citizens with guns and less gun related deaths per capita.

Much more likely, the deaths are indicative of a social problem and the guns are just the tools used to manifest it.

This comment is not anti gun legislation, it is anti logical fallacies.

I'd like to accidentally shoot John Stout in the face. For every stupid idiot drunkenly accidentally shooting one there are 10 responsible gun owners. It's not the guns you unbelievable fool, it's the stupidity.

And congrats on naming tiny countries with way bigger problems with violence amongst the population. Let me guess, you still think humans are causing global warming too, despite literally millions of years of repeated documented evidence that it's a natural phenomenon. Too many guns in this country? That has to be the most rediculous statement I ever heard,Ever hear it said,,"out law guns and only outlaws will have'em"? That's right. Legislature wants to "do away" with all guns,,That'll never happen,The only place the "removed" guns will go is to criminals..outlaws..people who do the crimes with guns that made the legislature want to get rid of the guns in the first place.
But then ya get into the "protect the deer" thing,,Where people who hate hunters and "Bambi killers". If they take away hunting,the deer population would explode,they'd die off with deseases and starvation,and cars would be hittin millions of them every year,,(well,,untill they became extinct) insted of the number that hit deer now,I don't know the number,,but I'm sure some "deer sympathizer" will know.
People need to understand about hunting,and guns. They're both here for a reason,and some people take each to extreme. "IE" Poaching. killing people. shooting highway signs,,etc. etc. That doesn't mean they should "do away" with guns,,wake up america,,as Earl Pits would so eligantly say.

The 13th Juror, Yes that is Palin, I think she looks like a complete fool. The gun, the bathsuit, does that make guns an american pass time? 70% of of murders are commited by guns. I don't like guns. Most of my family is Law-enforcement, guns have always been in my homes growning up. I married a Captain for the Sheriff's Dept. where I live. The problem is the gang-bangers, felons and the assholes that just want to go out and hurt people. How do you stop these people from getting their hands on guns, you don't. I don't think there is any answer for gun control. Palin is a JOKE, why on GODS green earth would her picture be on this site for guns? I know because she can see RUSSIA FROM HER BEDROOM WINDOW
