[UPDATE] Son-in-Law Christopher Harris Arrested in the Gee Family Massacre

• i've listened to many people talking about chris and just wanted them to get all of the negative things that they wanted to say about him out. this guy that your talking about is no more harmful than a house cat.and not saying that because we know each other for many year.thou i am much older than him.and i also know the whole family and was around them awhole lot this is a bunch of bullshit.shame on you people being so quick to jump to conclusion about this guy whom you don't even know or hardly know.boy i mean to tell you.newspapers an TV sure has a way to brainwash people i see.but wait to someone blames your mother,father,son,daughter,or friend for something like this it will be hitting to close to home now wouldnt it.oops chris or nicole wouldn't have a reason to do nothing of the sort of thing rick got along with chris well.but what i want to know did chris justify gravity to run from one room to the other to kill them and nobody got out the house, better yet.where is the blood in his truck,or in his brother truck.another thing how you going to kill all those people in 40min somebody can't find the right person it seems like. and trying to blame them. because him visiting with his father inlaw often.it would be nature for him to have hand prints in ricks house and chris is not some kind of nutcase type of person.another thing many divorce case are filed under mental cruelty.or inreconcilable differents,but does that mean the person is a killer. no it does not.but to try and convict a person of a crime and to find out they got the wrong person in prison is worst then the crime that was comitted.also to the person that mention him being in trouble before are you a saint,have you ever done something you wasn't suppose to,you did,and so did everybody else on here.now let that run across your mind for awhile.something is not adding up with this case at all.and if i would have thought that chris did this i would be one of the first to say he deserve what coming to him. because this is horrible.but i think people need to get more info.because papers and TV make there money on other peoples misery 95% of the time.hopeful they don't try to make there money on you.or your family, or friends. one of these days by setting you up.court system and LE are getting there butts and hot water all the time these days for pulling shit like this.ruining peoples lifes.then finding out down the road oh we got the wrong person.example look at hurricane carter,nelson mondel,and just all the other poor,whites blacks,and mexican,and evey other nationality in site just to close a case to shutt everybody up in the town and i have many police officer that are good friends of mine judges,lawers as well that i know for year but it looks like steve nichols,is going to take some heat for this.looks like the detectives stuck steve in it to make a quick arrest and leaving him with alot of questions being fired at him in court by defensive team that cannot be answered in any logical way for steve to make any good rebutalment out of by the state and there detectives findings

• The whole thing smells fishy. I learned a long time ago that you have to take what the "news" reports with a big grain of salt. You can't rely on assumptions or circumstantial evidence. His truck was seen in the neighborhood? So what? Is it not reasonable to think he would be near his in-laws? Please remember in our country people are INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty. Nothing offered so far passes for proof. In a crime as brutal as this, there must be some kind of physical evidence; DNA evidence. Justice is not served if we don't make sure to lock up the right person. And no, I am not defending a murderer, or even arguing that they didn't do it, because I simply don't know. But I've seen this lynch mob mentality many times before. Don't join the bandwagon, don't believe everything you read. Think for yourself.

• Wow, I am a former Ex-girl of Chris Harris, This whole thing seem so crazy and brings tears to my eyes. I can't piture him takin anyone's life let alone his daughter and son's grandparents, Aunt, and Uncle's. I date Chris off and on for 2 yrs in between him and nicole's problems. He was not a violet person, he NEVER yelled, I never seen him mad. As for a couple people's thoughts it wouldn't suprise me if she set him up. And as for her reasoning's for the divorce its the biggest load of crap I've ever heard. She was the one who was physically abusive I have picture's to prove that one, she was one who cheated on him. Chris was a loving, kind hearted person whom I trusted with my life, and I still do. I had recently talked with him just 2 days before the killings, and he was happy,and content with his life. And as for the possible of insurance money, maybe for her but as for chris money doesn't make him happy. He just wanted to live his, finish school. He was even talking back in march about transfering school's to go to UF in Florida. HAPPY PEOPLE DON'T KILL.

• The brother, Jason, has now been charged with murder! His girlfriend and her mother just have the obstruction of justice charges, but Jason is now slapped with murder. • I am glad to hear the investigaters are being quiet until they know exactly what they need to do. That is how the job is done properly! They move too quick without all the work done, someone or all could get off for improper proceedures, or some of them could have ran. Such a horrible thing for this to happen. May justice be served!

• They've arrested Harris' brother, his brother's girlfriend, and the mother of his brother's girlfriend. Harris was living with his brother and his brother's girlfriend in Armington at the time of the murders. I think the actual arrests were for obstruction of justice, and not for the actual murders.

• i agree that the truck identisketch didn't exactly match, so there are questions in my mind about that. i also think that le was eager to make an arrest of some kind to keep fear down in the surrounding area. but, i would hope that le has some kind of physical evidence to back their claims. i'm not sure how they could arrest him without that. it's unusual to make an arrest these days without strong enough evidence to convict. look to drew peterson and other cases in that regard. i will have to disagree about one person being able to beat two adults and two teens to death...look to the case of the horrorcore guy that killed his girlfriend, her friend and his girlfriend's parents. it is possible even if it's not likely. problem is they won't release information that they have so they can have a good trial without the public passing judgement. hurry up and wait...it's always the way!

• Guess someone is jumping to conclusions here. Take a look at more serious sites, like the pantagraph. While they also report about the arrest and the possibility of him being the killer, they do not fail to show contradictory facts: - he parked the pickup in the front of his house for days after the killings - this was known to the media and most likely LE for days (that he's the owner of such a truck without the tail pipes) - LE told us the killer should most likely have fresh injuries (from the fighting) - for a single person to kill 2 adults and 2 teenager with blunt force is rather hard without help (there were no reports about the victims being bound or anything either)

• The problem with the truck is that the one they found in his possesion does not or has never had the semi-type stack tail pipes coming out of the truck bed according to witneses, previous owners, and his facebook page. The interesting thing, idenifying thing about the truck was the stack pipes.

• This case doesn't feel right. Unless LE is holding some physical evidence tightly to their chests, it is possible this guy didn't do it. According to the reports, the carnage done to this family was monstrous, with the perp being injured as well. This guy doesn't seem to have a mark on him. Also, unless there is some forensic material in the truck...it doesn't mean much. It ties him to maybe visiting the house, but he is a relative so that in itself doesn't mean he killed anybody. I'm very curious to see how this unfolds and I hope that more physical evidence is forthcoming.

• Little Miss...thank you for posting update on Tabitha..that is the first news I have read about her in days..and it is positive! Do you know if Nicole and Harris were living together just prior to the murders? From the things I read, it appeared he would stay there and at relatives..?

• This is my boyfriends family that this happened to. I was at the funeral and thought Nicole was acting strange but her entire family was brutally murdered so I figured that was normal. But now that I think about it you know she had to know that the man sleeping next to her was involved. They had been looking for the truck since the beginning and she knew what kind of truck he drove. Its all a bit strange to me and my first thought was insurance also but I didn't want to think that way. The funeral was extremely sad and hard to handle and I can't believe I was sitting two rows behind the MFer! It is absolutely disgusting and I hope for the sake of the family members every last one involved gets caught and brought to justice! Update baby Tabitha is responding and off all the tubing!

• Did her parents have insurance? If they did, and their other kids were killed, Nicole would be the sole beneficiary. He may have smelled a payoff.

• rumor had it that there were to be two arrests made and announced last night, however it did not pan out and the poster that posted it apologized (another site), her info in the past had been very accurate and right on...and she certainly didnt make it up...so I am thinking that there is possibility of more arrests...will wait and see for her info could still be accurate but the act itself could have been delayed for any number of reasons.... lets hope that whatever transpires..that it turns out to rock solid evidence against anyone at all that was involved for I am totally convinced there had to be more than one person.

• I have followed this case avidly and suspect LE had him on the list of unoffical suspects all along. I think any of the surviving family were on the list until they could be eliminated. It was a horrendous crime scene to process and it took time to sort it out. I suspect he is the one that was at their house Sunday and a argument was overhead by neighbors and a male was seen leaving with a baby or young child. He was divorced from Nicole but they had recently went back together plus they shared two children, a older child about 8 or so and the baby that was born recently. He also had posted in his profile on myspace that he and Nicole were back together. I have doubts he could have done something this tragic and horrendous by himself, and think that since he has pretty short hair (and I read at another site) that hair was found in the vicitms hands...it would make me think there was more than one person involved and one of them had much longer hair..unless of course he got a recent haircut?? I would not be surprised to see more arrests coming...some may be for knowledge people had 'after the fact' and didnt report, or other people that may have directly been involved..just a guess on my part but I don't think this will end with Harris...I think the tentacles of the investigation will stretch far beyond Harris. I hope I am wrong, but I just can't see how one person could have done this by themselves.

• I am betting the reason for the murders is that the Gee family did not want Nicole to reconcile w/this creep. I also think LE had him on their suspect list from the very beginning. They were probably waiting for forensic evidence to be processed and you can bet they were keeping a close eye on his activities. Don't underestimate LE, they had this monster in their sites. It just took a little time to connect all the dots. I just hope the daughter Nicole isn't involved.
