Since this is Cleveland, we're doubtful she was in attendance
Year after year Cleveland makes its annual appearance in the Top 5 rankings of America's poorest cities. That's not good for the enterprising robber. So some inventive bad guys have decided to go where the money is: high stakes poker games.

Last spring, armed men burst into a suburban Solon warehouse where a high stakes game was in play. Their take that night: $75,000, which is a lot better the stripping copper from foreclosed houses.

This week they hit again. Seven players were at an apartment in Cleveland when one stepped out for a smoke. A man pointed a gun in his face, then two suspects forced him inside, where they took $11,000, grabbed their pants, and blasted the poker aficionados with pepper spray...

Unfortunately, the guy holding the game had listed the date and location on a poker website, which, in the criminal mind, was translated to mean: "Large Amounts of Cash Available With No Surveillance Cameras! But Bring Your Own Gun!"

Under Ohio law, gambling is legal so long as the host isn't charging admission or taking a cut for the house. Advertising, however, is highly discouraged.
