• Yes J alot about these people are hard to fathom. Like the 20 year old tatooing the one year olds butt. These people obviously are'nt always the brightest bulb on the christmas tree. One sandwich short of a picinic basket. A can short of a 6 pack if you will. I know its hard for people who knew the victim or the perpatraitor to believe they should have been able to tell such and such was a screw loose.But it happens all the time everyday and comparing them to Manson and other killers does'nt lesson the crime THEY commited!

• I guess he brought the kid to the hotel thinking he would be back before the parents returned and that is how it amounts to kidnapping, and that would explain his dillusion that no one would find out. But that makes me curious how they DID find out. Maybe they came home a bit early? The "sold" must be him pimping the kid out for the couple hours, I suppose.

• No, not all criminals were once sweethearts, and it sounds like he just had you fooled. Don't go blaming it on the him getting caught up with other people. He knowingly participated, he made the choice. What I can't fathom, though, is how guys like this never put 2 and 2 together that if you're the babysitter and the baby disappears on your watch...you're the suspect! Did he claim someone broke in and kidnapped the baby at gunpoint? Why are there always these mysterious, unanswered questions with these crimes?!

• Aaron was one of my best friends. We partied together and got drunk. But not once knew he would do something like that. All I know is the past few years Aaron has been really depressed and miserable about his love life. That could have really have down the trick to cause this but really Aaron was a sweetheart and once upon a time all the criminals in the world were. He will learn from what he did that is just how he is. At least he isnt the sick fucks out there who enjoy hurting people like Charles Manson or that Jared Yaffe guy he just got caught up in some bad shit and maybe even under the influence of something knowing him.

It happened when William Bonin confessed to abducting, raping and murdering 14 boys in California; when Jesse Timmendequas raped and murdered Megan Kanka in New Jersey; when Ben Ownby, missing for four days, and Shawn Hornbeck, missing for four years, were recovered in Missouri. Despite what happened that night and the constant reminders that continue to haunt me years later, I wouldn't change what happened. The animal that attacked me was a serial predator, a violent pedophile trolling my neighborhood in Lincoln, Rhode Island looking for young boys. He beat me, raped me, and I stayed alive. I lived to see him arrested, indicted and murdered. It might not have turned out this way if he had grabbed one of my friends or another kid from my neighborhood. Perhaps he'd still be alive.
