Dr. Michael Mockovak tried to hire the Russian mob; Daniel Kultin warned the FBI about the plot
In our November 21 edition of Breakfast Reading, we referred you to the Seattle Weekly story about the eye surgeon who tried to hire the Russian mob to kill his former business partner.

Unfortunately, we got the good guy and the bad guy transposed.

Dr. Michael Mockovak had approached Russian emigre and IT employee Daniel Kultin about putting a hit on the business partner. But Kultin was the hero in this case, going to the FBI and setting up Mockovak so agents could gather evidence on the plot.

You can read the correct story here. Our apologies for the error.
