Jessie, as she preferred to be called, was born on May 27, 1984 in Calgary, Alberta, but moved with her mother to British Columbia when she was 3-years-old and attended school, grades K-11, in Kamloops before moving back to Calgary to live with her dad, where she finished school...
Jessie was recruited by a woman in Calgary to work in Las Vegas. Prior to her disappearance, she traveled to New York, Florida, and Nevada. She was last seen at the house she shared with her boyfriend/pimp, a man believed to be twice her age, in North Las Vegas. Her boyfriend/pimp has a prior conviction for spousal assault, Without much to go on, detectives fear that she may have become victim to an international human trafficking ring.
At the very least, she got mixed up with the wrong crowd.
The man she moved in with lived in a swanky suburb, just north of Sin City. The man not only resided in the expensive home, but drove a number of expensive cars. Jessie apparently told her family that the man was independently wealthy, but police believe he was simply a pimp and had brought Jessie into his stable of other prostitutes.
Jessie's last contact with her mother occurred on March 24, 2006 in a telephone conversation in which she discussed returning home to Canada for a visit in the very near future. But she never made the trip, and has not been seen or heard from since the last time she was seen, believed to have been on March 28.
Jessie's physical traits are similar to those of three other Las Vegas-area prostitutes who went missing and were determined to have been murdered between March 2003 and April 2006. All were Caucasian, slender, pretty, and had strawberry blonde hair. Each ranged in age from 19 to 26, and were between 5'4" and 5'6" in height. Their pimps were black males.
Police need all the help they can get as they continue trying to determine what happened to Jessie Foster, as well as the other missing women: Misty Marie Saens, Jodi Marie Brewer, and Lindsay Marie Harris (note how each of their middle names are Marie). Anyone with any information about Jessie Foster or any of the other missing women are asked to contact investigators with the North Las Vegas Police Department at 702-633-9111.

Which is it? They've gone missing "Since 2006" as the headline asserts, or "between 2003 and 2006".

She probably knew he was a pimp and that the other women around him were hookers. Maybe she thought it would be exciting or glamorous? Maybe she thought that she would be getting the money she earned?
Who knows what happened? Disrespected him? Tried to leave with his money? Or wearing clothes that he had paid for?
The pimp's car was never forensically analyzed. The desert is vast. No one knows how long her final trip would likely be. Its likely there have been no more defections from his stable.
