There is no evidence that she was abused! And kpr says her kids don't act up and she has never seen her friends kids act up. Well, I can say for certain as a mom, aunt, and a friend of several other moms. KIDS ACT UP! You may never see it, but it doesn't mean that it doesn't happen! I have never seen a million dollars, but I know its out there! How naïve are you kpr?!?!

Also, she was abused by the parade of boyfriends? Where in that story did it say anything about the mom havin a parade of boyfriends? It never mentions the father or where he is.

I will agree tho that the mom is a moron. She wasted a police officers time and taxpayers dollars because her child wanted to go dirty. Well, as a mom, I say let her go dirty! Then she actually tells the cop to "taser her ass?!?!"

Yes, the cop was probably out of line, but the real criminal here is the mom. The cop should have tasered her ass for being such an idiot.

And to kpr, how about lookin up facts before you start accussing someone of something. Your kids don't act up? Its the overly quiet, "calm" ones who "never" act up that makes me wonder about abuse. But, I'm not gonna jump to conclussions cause then I would be no better than you.

kids act up, sure, though some way more than others. mine as never much of a tantrum-thrower, and if she was upset about something beyond what seemed reasonable, I pretty much let her cry it out without resorting to threats (which do make kids cry harder, duh - they feel scared and/or resentful, and I can;t say I blame them!) or asked her to move somewhere else. and no, I don;t believe in slapping or spanking, though it's not as if I've never fantasized about it.

we're all only guessing, and I have no idea whether this mother has men, or women, in her life or not, nor does it really matter. I am willing to guess that by my middle-class standards, the woman is uneducated and rather resourceless, inwardly and outwardly. Marie Heck - the cop was employed as a protector, as all cops are suppposed to be. HE was a criminal, just as much as the mother. Cops are not our slaves!!! If I called the cops because my dog got out of the fence again and he grabbed her for me, and I said "taser that btch", he would *SHOULD* say "Excuse me? We cannot do that, Ma'am" knowing I was speaking out of anger. The mother was an idiot for doing that but this is a cop!!! COME ON!!! If I had children, I wouldn't want a cop anywhere near them, unless I knew him. Cops are not what they used to be. When I was a child, a police officer (jack ass of an officer) came to my house to talk to my dad about our dog getting loose in the country, like every other dog does. Anyhow, my dog began barking and I was scared because I saw his gun. I said "I'm sorry, she is just scared" and the dumb ass coward had the audacity to respond to an 8 year old girl "Well, I am scared and I am going to shoot that dog right between the eyes". I cried so hard, I thought he was going to shoot me just for owning the dog. What a bastard. Any cop who is too arrogant to solve a problem the correct way (by abiding by steps agreed on for fellow officers) needs to be tasered in public. And all dogs on the loose should attack while all kids kick them in the balls, or elsewhere if it is a woman. We need to fight back! Don't let cops torture you anymore! The criminals and their sympathizing host and commenters will simply never, ever see the police for what and who they really are and how they directly benefit from the efforts of the self-sacrificing and heroic majority of police officers.

I only wish they would self-identify upon coming into contact with any police. At least that way, the police would know they were in hostile company and be prepared for their sucker punches.

But, like the Taliban and al Qaeda, they will disguise themselves and pretend to be a law-abiding citizens like you and me.

They'll hide behind our skirts and make us their shields and victims, like bullies and criminals always have across all time.

I agree, 100% again with you.

But you know, it makes me wonder a little. Do you ever think that the majority of cop bashers were people who tried out for the force and didn't make it?!?!

It also makes you wonder why people who bash cops don't have to wear a sign or have some way to identify them. That way if they are ever robbed or attacked or whatever, the cops could just say "nah. They think they can do it better, let them figure it out!"

Actually, I really like the ring of that.............
