​Reader "Wes" responds to Anthony Sowell Case: How Lazy Police Let a Serial Killer Run Free. He believes the same thing happened in the Phillip Garrido Case:

"I heard the same complaints when Garrido failed to be caught for 18 years or so after kidnapping and repeatedly raping his victim. A convicted sex offender on lifetime parole (I had not even heard of lifetime parole before).

"We have the same problem in California, inept lazy and corrupt Law Enforcement. A report just came out on the case that has no other way to describe it other then a stunning show case of incompetence. Still LE tries to find the silver lining. I almost feel sorry for what are probably nice people like Alexa, but I can't quite bring myself to do it, they are in fact part of the problem."
