"This is an incredible tragedy, but blaming it on pot guys? The US Department of Justice estimates that Alcohol is involved in 40% of all violent crimes in America. How many does Cannabis contribute to? 0% except those cases involving violent dealers (which wouldn't exist if it was legal)...
"Unlike alcohol, cannabis does not fuel aggressive behavior. Ask a police officer the last time they had to stop an assault where cannabis consumption was involved. Then ask the last time they got a call to take care of an assault where alcohol consumption was involved.
"You will hear them state repeatedly that alcohol fuels aggressive and potentially violent behavior whereas pot does not. It's too bad that some of you would condemn somebody who innocently might use Cannabis as their drug of choice instead of yours (probably alcohol)."
