Do lacrosse players need some kind of gender etiquette training before they're allowed on campus?
Three players from the Sacred Heart University lacrosse team have been accused by an 18-year-old student of conspiring to commit sexual assault. Though the characters aren't as exaggerated as they were in the Duke lacrosse case, this one could get just as messy.

According to police at the small Connecticut Catholic school, Timothy Sanders was having consensual sex with the woman in a dorm room. That's when two other players -- Nicholas Travers and Zachari Triner -- entered the room naked.

As the woman tells it, Sanders held her down and invited the other two to join them. She says that after a struggle, Travers and Zachari ran away...

But Sanders' lawyer, Wayne Keeney, says the incident was nothing more than drunk college boys acting stupid. He acknowledges that Travers and Zachari entered the room naked, but only to punk their friend Sanders as a prank. They never touched the woman, and none of the men had any intention of hurting her, he claims.

"I can appreciate that this young woman was put in an embarrassing set of circumstances through some sophomoric, college-boy antics, but there's no indication from what I can see or discern so far that there was any sexual assault there," Keeney told the Huffington Post.

All three players have been charged with conspiring to commit sexual assault, and all have been suspended from school. Sanders is also charged with unlawful restraint.
