Said the missive: "You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member ... you call him a racist." It goes on to list some of the more popular racial slurs, before urging recipients to pass it along -- if they're brave enough. "There is nothing improper about this e-mail. Let's see which of you are proud enough to send it on ... BE PROUD TO BE WHITE!"
But Gobbell isn't altogether computer savvy, it seems. When he tried to print it, he instead sent out a mass email... to 787 other state employees. And some of those were bound to be people who don't listen to talk radio, thus unattuned to oppressed white man logic...
Gobbell was subsequently jacked with a 15-day suspension. The state, meanwhile, has disabled a function that allowed morons like him to send out mass emails with one keystroke.
Hadda be Tennessee....

In fact, change the language a bit and an email containing a racist slant could even emanate from the office of Rev Jackson or Rev Sharpton.

Oh and Ragin, While I'm on the subject of this, IF you have a job (I'm thinking probably not, shutup and go collect your state handout) then why don't you go ahead and post a few forwards which might be considered racist.
Office email accounts are LADEN with emails that would be considered racist in one way or another and you KNOW it's true. You might not see them because of the electronic social circles.
As for this little coverup there IS no "send to everyone instantly" button. Also wild card keys work in SEARCHES, NOT ADDRESSES!

He is statiscally correct, the majority of the crimes that are mentioned are committed by black gang members, dispute if you'd like, but facts are facts. Do the research! And he is right, if a white officer happens to shoot a non-caucasian it's all over the news. Sharpton & Jackson are there immediately consoling the families and inducing racial propaganda to the media. Although if a non-caucasian officer shoots a white person, I can bet it won't be featured on Fox News or CNN. Are people not to be proud to be WHITE? If I'm not mistaken, there is an annual celebration of Black Pride every year, which occurred Sep. 19 of this year, it even has it's own website. There are multiple 'Pride Days' throughout the year for a multitude of races' & sexual orientation that are publicly advertised and accepted, except a White pride anything. Can't seem to find that as a publicly celebrated & acceptable event anywhere. Of course not, that would be racist! Let's turn the tables; have the email been sent by a black police officer referencing white or latino gang members, what do you think would have happened? I can tell you. He may have been disciplined internally (only for sending internal spam), and beyond his/her department it would have never made national or local news. Media fuels the fire of racism and it's a pure shame. The people that use this kind of stuff as their EXCUSE for racism should be ashamed of themselves. Racism only exsists because people want it to, without it people would have nothing to blame their conduct and pure laziness on. It's time to drop the excuses, and the black/white crap and just be AMERICANS!

Had the tides been turned it would have never made the news. Shame on the person who wrote this article. Why don't you find out more about a person before calling them a moron. In this case takes one to know one I guess. Trooper Gobbell is a fine person.
