When the pharmacist offered this robber $1,100 worth of generics, he threated to shoot an employee before leaving empty handed
Talk about your discerning dope addicts-turned-robbers: When a bad guy showed up to rob the pharmacy at an Albertson's store in Troutdale, Oregon, he demanded 80mg tablets of Oxycontin, and made sure to let the pharmacist know he wouldn't accept any knock-offs...

But for reasons unknown, the pharmacist offered him $1,100 worth of the generic substitute, oxycodone. The robber was displeased. He handed back the bounty and threatened to shoot another pharmacy employee if he didn't get the real stuff.

But the momentary delay apparently caused him to believe this whole robbery thing was getting complicated. So he fled the store empty-handed.

The bad guy is described as white and in his early 20s. Unfortunately, a police sweep of the area didn't catch him.
