Serial killers are mostly white people. With exceptions, usually minorities kill once and stop or get caught. White people can have mental disorders that don't frequent blacks or Asians, making them more lonely types or just really pissed off. They usually can keep from being caught because of their mental instability. Usually crazy white people plan their attacks in advance, other races go spur of the moment usually. I learned it much more in depth in a class. I'm sure if you google about it you will find better explanations then the ones I remember.
