| Margaret Gooding was shot, stuffed in a trunk and left to die until someone found her 12 hours later |
Police say he and Nathaniel Harris busted a window at her home in the wee hours of Monday morning, then ordered Gooding to open the front door. She decided it would be a much better idea to shoot him. So she did...
But in the exchange of gunfire, Margaret was hit in the stomach. Her own shots unfortunately missed. The two creeps then pepper sprayed her, stuffed her in the trunk of her car, and left her to die in a parking lot in nearby Walterboro.
Margaret lay bleeding in the trunk for 12 hours before a man decided to call the cops to report a suspicious car outside his business. Margaret spent two days in the hospital, but is recovering well.
"She's doing all right," brother-in-law Oddis Gooding told WTOC-TV. "She can't hardly walk. I reckon it's from soreness, being through that ordeal she's gone through. I think she's doing remarkable."
Better yet is that she was able to ID the assholes who shot her. Aiken and Harris are facing charges of burglary, assault and battery with intent to kill, and kidnapping. Derrick Aiken is charged with accessory.
