"I also work with Angie and have known her several years. The problem is not just the police, but the family. We were worried about her Monday when she didn't show up for work. Her family was not near as concerned and thought she had a relapse.
"I work with her very closely every day and she is a hard worker and a very caring person. We were unable to file reports and help earlier because we are not immediate family. We have made fliers that have been passed out all over the area. Please help us find her...we miss her terribly."

Posted 12/23/2009 at 06:46:55 PMDetectives have release a photo of two individuals that made a purchase with Angela's credit card at the Wal-Mart in the Roland Park, KS area. There were other transactions on this card at other retail stores in that same area. Please contact the tips hotline.

Somebody has alot of nerve bashing the family during a time like this. So, let me set the record straight....because I'm certain that none of the bloggers know the real story. There was some mis-communication when reporting Angela missing. The KCKPD told the family there was no need to report her missing since she had already been reported missing to the KCPD. BUT..she never was officially reported missing in MO due to the fact that the KCPD Detective advised the family to report her misssing in KCK because that where she was last seen and that's where her home address is. Don't write anything if you don't have the truth, that perception that the family isn't doing enough couldn't be anymore false.
Posted 12/24/2009 at 12:16:10 PMI recommend everyone click on the link provided in the first comment by Floyd Gingrich particularly if your a local to the area. A picture of her car can be found there, plus, an image of the two persons caught on security footage using her credit card.
Posted 12/26/2009 at 07:36:29 AMThankfully this particular the image is of VERY GOOD QUALITY- someone should be able to recognise this man and woman team immediately! These two know whats happened to Angela if they are not directly resposible for her dissappearance.
Pity the photo wasnt released ALOT SOONER! For goodness sake!
Can anyone tell me, in which shop + the time and date Angelas credit card was used? Think it was used 3 days after the 5th of December, the day Angela went missing, i.e the credit card was used on the 8th of December?
Posted 12/26/2009 at 08:31:32 AMThese details might help jog the memory of someone who may have been shopping that day or who may know the perps captured on security cameras. It would be great to unearth some more security footage perhaps showing the perps vehicle for example.
Consentual use of a vehicle or credit card is always possible but when someone is missing from work, out of contact with family and friends and someone else has recently been using their credit card, the cops should do more than consider it some other jurisdiction's headache.
Posted 12/26/2009 at 04:32:20 PMno news on Angela?
Posted 12/27/2009 at 03:58:45 PMWe passed out fliers the last 2 days in Roeland Park. But no news. Detective haven't returned calls or emails. Hopeful Monday we bring some info and/or direction???
Posted 12/27/2009 at 11:51:26 PMDetective’s aren’t returning emails or calls!? I suppose they’re sulking over the bad press/criticism! Certainly doesn’t sound like theyre making any attempt to redeem themselves after the poor effort demonstrated thus far.
Posted 12/28/2009 at 07:32:23 PMIts become abundantly clear, (for quite sometime now), that something more sinister than a ‘relapse’ is behind Angelas disappearance. The apparent lack of information and interest in this case is overwhelming! Especially given the amazing evidence in the way of the the security footage and credit card use!
Where is poor Angela and WHO are these two shady characters caught on film using her credit cards!?
Wouldn’t surprise me if investigators were discouraging publicity in this case to ‘save face’.
Posted 12/28/2009 at 07:52:24 PMI suspect they’d rather have Angela remain missing than generate any negative publicity regarding their own incompetence and lack of professionalism- is that it?
MOO
The lack of attention in this case is so frustrating in light of the recent hoopla surrounding Katie OConnell, misplaced and located all in less than 72 hours!
Posted 12/28/2009 at 08:23:13 PMUnfortunately it looks like its up to Angelas family and friends to generate publicity and leads.
Posted 12/28/2009 at 08:50:03 PMIs there a website for Angela? I think its a great idea for family/friends of missing persons to open a Facebook page from which they can circulate information, fliers and get the word out. Networking sites are a really good tool for publicity and Facebook is the most widely used. Can be used as a starting point for generating leads where the public can engage in discussion and leave tips anonymously.
Angelas loved ones have been doing an admirable job getting the word out thus far despite all they must be experiencing during such a difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and with Angela.
Sad, her body was found today in a car parked in the parking lot of Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Not sure if it was her car, but they said she had been dead for many days. Her credit card was used at a walmart last week. Very sad.
Posted 12/29/2009 at 06:38:10 PM=( wow... thanks SS for letting us now. God bless her family and give them the strength to get through this. Thats so sad... I was really hoping she'd be found...
Posted 12/29/2009 at 06:45:58 PMI'm Angie's Uncle John Hook. There seems to be a lot of people shooting off at the mouth about things they think they know. I can promise you my sister=in =law did everything possible to help the police on both sides of the state line. You people on here that are saying things that aren't true are very irresponsible idiots. I don't know where you got you imfo but your wrong. I don't care whether you work with her or not keep you opinions to yourself. It's very easy to find out who and where this threads come from and you might end up in a law suit for s;ander.
Posted 01/02/2010 at 12:28:50 PMOh no....
Posted 01/03/2010 at 02:22:43 AMAll my thoughts are with Angela and with her loved ones.
Any news on that man 'Butch' they were looking for?
Posted 01/05/2010 at 07:37:01 PMI cant beleive that someone parked Angela in front of the hospital without getting help- why did they even bother geting Angela to Emergency at all if they were just going to leave in the car to perish.
If someone doesnt want to become involved in these types of situations they can call an ambulance and provide the operator with directions to locate the patients position. They could have just called an ambulance to whatever address the car was located and instructed the operator to Angelas whereabouts in the back seat of the car!
Im also amazed at the basic charges laid in the case of the couple who used Angelas credit card! They should be face additional charges for not providing information on Angelas whereabouts after she became missing and, if applicable, with neglecting to assist her when she required medical care. I noticed one of them was charged with 'theft' of the credit card- this implies that she stole the card from Angelas possesions in the car AFTER Angela passed away!
