• Thank you to all the people that posted on this site .Thank you for all your kind words. It has truly helped me get through this.I knew andrew was innocent ,because anybody that knows andrew knows he was defending himself.

• I was really good friends with andy up until I about 2 years ago when we lost contact. I am still just in complete disbelief because in the 6 years or so that I was friends with him one thing that stayed constant was that a man was to never lay a finger on a woman for any reason. He really was one of the absolute sweetest guy I was ever friends with. He had his moments as we all do but it never got to a level of violence before, and believe me I have been in some situations with him where any other guy would have lost it, and he didn't. I know that people change and it's been about 2 years since I've seen him but I can't believe he would have done something this cold without some type of provocation, and without extreme remorse!!! No matter what he has done I was always remember my andy and all the good in him!!!

• I live where this happened. In addition to the previous comments (minus Alexa's because she makes NO sense) I couldn't agree more. I am very very very sorry two people lost their lives and their families and friends lost them over such a needless occurrence. It is just wrong in every way and I can't stress that enough. But . . . It is true that: I have lived here all of my life and would never act as this woman did. But if I was with someone who did and a person called them out on it, I would try to make them shut up and go away, because that is wrong, wrong, wrong (AND ILLEGAL for BOTH genders). It is also true that: I, nor anyone I know, would NOT ("gang" coat or not) confront him, make a scene, cause a fight, have the fight wane, leave the place, come back to restart it, then pull the, "let's take it outside" play (which is what happened here.) That's just nuts and wrong on every level no matter who you are. It's a fact that a non-cop would never act that way~ Be honest. Andy's eyes tell the whole story if one is able to see the whole news video. He was trying to digest what everyone else already knew for days over the span of a few seconds. The jailers lied to him about knowing the victims' status (they said they didn't know, but they did). He was already asking about them before he was even booked. He found out they died in that courtroom at that time. He was in shock already over what happened, then add the shock of the "new" information, shock of being charged with TWO counts of the worst charge that exists--first degree intentional homicide. I'm not saying he's an innocent man being railroaded unfairly. He's obviously not. The dumbas* had a loaded gun on him and shot and killed two people, which is crazy in every way. But we all know that people we meet every day, Wisconsin or not, businessmen, farmers, rednecks, politicians, bikers, off-duty cops, idiots,... pack heat. Come on people. Stop the joke.

• Clearly, Nick is a misogynist, not a gentleman. Since women require a gun in order to even have a hope of a chance in successfully defending herself against a man, and we OWN pussies, you know, what men will do ANYTHING to get, then, technically, Nick approximates knowing something that could save his life. Ladies, let's see to it.

• This is a situation where the accused was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Don't know why he had a gun, but clearly he became a different person at the time of the shooting. I watched the courtroom video, and seeing his eyes tell a different story about this kid. He is clearly in over his head, and he is scared, and he most certainly regrets everything. Tough guys do not cry. When he was arrested he kept asking for assurance that the first victim was alive still, and got the cold shoulder. The media does not report that part. He also said had he known he killed a cop, he would have taken his own life. Unremorseful people do not say things like that. Maybe this guy is a hothead, but was obviously provoked. He does not seem to understand the mess he is in, and can't believe the bail that was set. I feel bad for the victims, and I feel bad for Andrew Wirth. He must pay for what he did, but it didn't have to be this way.

• I know Andy from Pa he is a good kid, and was put in a situation, A cop of all people off duty or on should not be pinching other mens asses. Andy is not one to play that especially when he was on a date and the boyfriend should have kicked her ass for doing that. The boyfriend should not have pulled a gun first either.. It doesn't have anything to do with biker gangs it has to do more with a bunch of idiots drinking and blowing things out of proportion.
