Reader: For Their Own Protection, It's Time to Take the Kids From Josh Powell

​Reader Joe Scovel responds to Stockbroker Susan Powell Missing in Utah; Husband's Actions Suspicious. Given the rash of murder-suicides, he believes it's time for the state to take the kids away from Josh Powell:

"Don't you think now would be a good time to take the two kids from Mr. Powell. I don't know on what grounds, but since our latest murder/suicide last night I think I would make a mistake on behalf of Powells' two kids and I would take them from him until his wife re-appears.

"I am a firm believer in the law and the rights of the innocent until proven guilty, but I would not fault the child protective services if they "mistakenly" took the two kids until this mess is cleared up. Hate to see another murder/suicide."
