• WOW There are really dumb people cause the country i live in there is alot of people that like to rape little girls and touch 15 year old in appropiate which is really wrong and i am not to shure if any of u have heard well a little girl named victoria stafford got raped and the friggin woman was holdin her down while the guy was raping her and they also tied her to the bed but if the girl didnt do what he asked he told her that he would kill her so she choosed to let a friggin little 8 yr old girl die so tonight i am going to ask u a question! if u where the woman that had a choice to let her self die or let and 8 yr old die what would u do give ur life up for and 8 yr old little girl or let him kill u instead ? Tylar also never met her father. Blah blah blah. I live 2 minutes from where this happened, and I can tell you Tylar was probably a spoiled little brat like all the other kids around here despite the drunk mom and corporal punishment. This community is very upscale, multi-million dollar homes and I've seen Tylar's house - she had everything she could wish for minus a sober mom.

• Don't get me wrong, i've gotten mad enough at my mom to scream or yell at her. Hell, i've wanted to rip my hair out because she can be so demanding sometimes... BUT It seriously takes a WHOLE NEW LEVEL of "fucked up" to watch your kinky boyfriend stab your mother. I mean, she saw the blood, she watched her mother die. WOW. put her away...forever?!

• Colin, true we don't exactly know it was for her, what they have given us is - those items on the bed with the girl naked in the closet. That right there is what has us assuming, and I agree its an assumption, that they were intended for her. Her mom may have also put two and two together after reading her diary that was said to have graphic details of their sexual relationship. I am pretty sure that they were meant to be used on her, or by her on him, but I guess your right, we cant be positive because we werent there. Rocki, I disagree. I think going to the police was a smart idea and showed a mother taking charge and doing what was right for her daughter. If she would have kicked him out it could easily have continued behind closed doors, or just some place else. By having him charged with statutory rape it atleast puts some fear in him to stay away from her daughter, or so she may have thought. I think if she knew he'd have killed her if she went to the police, she would have handled it differently. However, I do agree that having a 19 year old man (gay, straight, a tranny I dont care) move in with her 14 year old daughter living there was extremely bad judgement. Sadly, it happens all over the country these days.

• OMG, about a year ago my son was going to a friends house where all the teenagers hung out. I went over to pick him up in the afternoon. I went to the door and knock no one answered so I walked in. My little Boy 14 years old was making out with a 42 year old women. I was so mad, I grabbed him by the collar and left. I wanted to go to the police, my son bagged me not to. He has never gone back to that house or hung out with those friends but I am still mad about it. The reason I told that story is, when a mother is in that situation with her child, you don't know what you're going to do at the moment. Kill your kid or kill the adult. Usally the adult gets pick up by the police

• The then 19 year old had written something about killing to be with the one you love, so apparently he had feelings for her. He obviously spent money on things for her benefit (the leash and collar), items that every 14 year old girl in El Dorado must be just dying to have given to her by her true love. Mother really believed the dude was gay?

• I'm not surprised at this happening. You really have to wonder about this mother's judgement. She didn't seem to take any responsibility in the situation and was letting teenagers run her home. That's part of the reason she ended up dead. I think she should have just kicked him out rather than gone to the police right away. She just seemed oblivious to the fact that she agreed to this situation and it didn't turn out good. apparently, the threat of going to prison for statutory rape scared these kids bad enough to do this. This is horrible.

• This brings to mind a similar case that happened years ago, I just wish I could remember names! Too bad it doesnt say why she wanted her mother dead. I don't think it had to do with this boy, and I only want to know to get a little insight into why she'd have wanted her dead, and allowed this man to kill her mother. I know love can be intense for a 14 year old, or shall we say enfatuation can be intense, but that still doesn't make you let someone murder the one person whos always been there for you. Regardless why, this is just terrible. Its only too bad that her mother didn't pick up on any signs that this boy wasn't gay, or what exactly he was capable of. One thing that I don't understand, unless they were just foolishly naive and thought they would get away with it: They committed murder because he was about to be charged with statitory rape.... um... yeah, murder is a little worse kid.

• Wow, here is one of those exceptions where a 19 year old is probably gonna have the statutory rape book thrown at him along with the homicide. You know...when you're a nice 19 year old guy who happens to be smitten with someone still in high school, it's even sometimes possible to get on the parents' good side and NOT have them reporting you to authorities! As long as you haven't crossed the line, you can still walk away from the situation if they never accept you because they are just too old-fashion. God forbid you have to wait a couple years to have sex. But first, you would have to have a likable bone in your body, be doing something positive with your life, not get caught in the act, and maybe obviously care about her rather than treating her as your sex slave. That might help to start wtih a better first impression.

• She's gonna be tried as an adult, Mandy, so my guess is she won't get off easy.
