Man blames girlfriend's threesome for murder

Police aren't saying how Tonya was murdered. But they do seem to be worried that she's in the company of Lester Hobbs.
In November, Aja's biological father was given emergency custody of the little girl. There's no word yet on the reasoning of the order, but it expressly stated Tonya would be given only supervised visitation, and that she would keep the girl away from Lester, who has previous felony convictions.
The girl is believed to be traveling in her stepdad's car, a 1992 Toyota Paseo with no hubcaps and plastic covering the rear window. She is 4-feet-tall and weighs 65 punds.
Lester is described as 5-foot-9, 185 pounds with a mustache. His car has an Oklahoma license plate with the number 577-BPW.
UPDATE: Police believe Lester Hobbs is traveling with the girl somewhere in the western states.
Oklahoma investigators think he may be in Texas, Oregon or California, where he has relatives.
There's still no word on why a judge ordered that Hobbs be kept away from Aja, he does have a fairly impressive record as a low-rent criminal. His convictions date as far back as 1983 burglary, drunk driving, eluding police, resisting arrest and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

were last seen Saturday night when the girl and her mother went to visit him at his sister's trailer home, which is on the same property as Tonya Hobbs' RV. UPDATE II: Lester Hobbs reportedly threatened to kill his wife and her daughters if she ever left him. Police believe the first part's come true. In seeking a protection order in August, Tonya Hobbs wrote that "My husband has threatened to hit my daughters in the head with a hammer and kill them." At least the first part has come true. On Sunday, Tonya took Aja to visit Lester in hopes of reconciling. Her other daughter was staying with relatives. Police aren't sure exactly what happened, but Tonya was later found beaten to death in her RV. Police aren't waiting around to ask Lester about it. He's been charged with her murder. But detectives still have been able to locate him or the girl. An additional Amber Alert has been issued in Texas, where Lester has relatives and may have traveled.

Briefly, and paraphrased. This guy and his wife were in the midst of a divorce. The bio dad of this child had won a temporary emergency custody of the child in november. the child was only to have supervised visits with the mother, and a further order that the child have no contact with the scum bag felon piece of shit that has murdered her mother and has her now.
the child needs medicine that she is on daily.

This is why the child was to have no contact with the perp.

the father said that if she doesnt' take her meds for attention deficit she gets very unruly. if she doesn't get sleep (also medicated for) then she can get downright difficult to deal with. she's been off her meds since saturday and is with a timebomb of a man imo. it's so important to keep a bolo on this child until she is found. i hope you can please find a way to keep this story at the front page of your site so more people are made aware. this is a rare story where readers may actually be able to help someone. i think that's pretty important. most of the other stories are about something already done and over with..this is live and there is a little girl out there that needs everyone looking for her.

There is not much discussion about the details of the supervised visitation requirements. Who was supervising this visit? What training do they have? How could they let the mother go to the RV of Lester Hobbs if this was against the court order?
More resources need to be going towards supporting Professional Supervised Visitation Providers. There are trained professionals that deliver this service, but all too often supervision happens by untrained people and other times, the supervised visitation requirements are just ignored. This is a problem that must have more awareness raised around the subject.
Google "Supervised Visitation Network” or go to svnetwork.net to find a list of qualified local providers. Please spread the word. We cannot let another tragedy happen because we will not invest the extra resources to ensure that children and adults are safe from violence, abuse and murder.
Posted 01/27/2010 at 01:01:23 PMI ofcourse am sad to hear her mother was murdered, but why did she even bring her daughter to visit him? If she was going to reconsile with that man she was putting herself and her daughters at risk.

I hope to God this baby is returned to her real father safe. Im really worried that the psychopath that is with her would rather get rid of the girl than tough it through her medical conditions without her medacine.
