Bobbie Smith Bites Off Sister Sandra's Nose in Drunken Fight

Bobbie Smith and her sister Sandra were drinking in Napoleon Township, Michigan when they got into a little spat. As Bobbie tells it, Sandra hit her. The battle heated up. That's when Bobbie decided to bite off her sister's nose...
Yes, you heard that correctly. During the duker, the 27-year-old mother of two actually gnawed off one-third of her 28-year-old sister's snout.
But Bobbie wasn't done with her episode of feistiness that eve. When police arrived, she also decided to kick Officer Jeff LeVanseler, then she trashed a squad car as she was being transported to jail.
A somewhat more contrite Bobbie Smith appeared in court yesterday to say she loved her sister, who was staying with her at the time. She also claims she was acting in self-defense, though detectives found no bruises or cuts to suggest that.
Prosecutor Mark Blumer wasn't buying the tale. "It was a major, disfiguring injury," he told the Jackson News. "She was extremely violent that night."
Fortunately for Sandra, the missing nose was located by police, but Blumer didn't know if it could be reattached.
Bobbie's now charged with some of the strangest crimes we've heard in months, including the "cutting off or out or disabling of a tongue, eyes, ears, a nose, limb, organ or other body
member." If convicted, she faces a maximum of 20 years in the slam.
