Carlos Lowery Smacks Cop in Domestic Dispute... While Naked

​As a general rule, it's never good to hit a cop. It's especially not good to do it while you're naked. But Carlos Lowery apparently isn't keen on following these tried and tested mores. Police in Salisbury, North Carolina were called to a domestic beef at an apartment building today...

A call had come in that Lowery was beating on his girlfriend. When police intervened, he reportedly smacked an officer, then tried to flee while bare naked. During the chase, and officer stumbled and accidentally fired his weapon before Mr. Nude North Carolina was finally captured.

Lowery later tried to claim he was shot by police, but the absence of a bullet would put a thorn in that story. Officer Rita Rule was treated with head and facial injuries and released from the hospital.

Captain Naked, meanwhile, was charged with assault on an officer, kidnapping, and assault on a female. When asked why he decided to commit his crimes while nude, Lowery simply responded "I don't know."
