Welcome to another all-new episode of Douchebags of the Week, fresh baked with wholesome D-list celebrities. This week's top prize goes to badgered husband Muzzammil Hassan, who calmed his wife with a hunter's knife. But first, please welcome a familiar face...
5) Andy Dick
Douchebag fun fact: Though he has never appeared in a Top 5 list, actor-comedian Andy Dick has finished in the Douchebag Top 10 every week since the prize's inception. Now he's got a prime slot all his own.
Dick, 44, was arrested January 23 for grabbing the crotch of a bouncer at a bar in Huntington, West Virginia. He had been hired to perform at a Huntington comedy club later that weekend, and the club's manager ponied up the $60,000 bail to ensure that the show would go on.
Dick, still on probation from a 2008 incident in which he pulled down the top of a 17-year-old girl, faces an initial hearing on February 2. He is charged with two counts of felony sexual abuse and one count of being Andy Dick.
4) Bambi Stell and Herman Sims
Four out of our five junkies agree there's nothing like God and loved ones to help you through troubled times. Bambi Stell, on the other hand, says the sons of bitches can all go to hell.
When 32-year-old Stell went missing from her Pinckneyville, Illinois home for three days in January, concerned calls to the sheriff resulted in a welfare visit to her home by deputies.
That's where they found Stell, along with a most impressive and somewhat incriminating methamphetamine lab. The young entrepreneur was arrested along with Herman Sims, 30, with whom Stell shared the residence and presumably the crank.
The two face felony charges for producing meth -- with bonus charges pending for setting up shop next to a church.
3) Carlos Correa
When a lawyer commits theft against a federal agency, you call him a standard-bearer for his profession. When he gets tried for one charge and nailed for two, you call him a Douchebag of the Week.
Attorney Carlos Correa, 64, of Houston was found guilty of cashing his dead father's Social Security checks for the past 12 years, pocketing $180,000 for his trouble.
But Correa's day in court took an embarrassing turn -- even for a lawyer -- when prosecutors revealed that he had weaseled a friend into pretending to be a Mary Kay Cosmetics employee for a 2006 murder case.
In addition to the theft conviction, Correa entered a guilty plea on perjury charges. His February sentencing should yield at least 12 years behind bars, virtually squashing any hope of seeing a dime of his mother's Social Security.
2) Unnamed Texas Stepfather
Names are commonly withheld by the press when criminal proceedings involve offenses against children. In this case, the State of Texas itself could've done without the publicity.
A 28-year-old married man in Alvin, Texas, has been charged with sexual assault of his 11-year-old stepdaughter. According to authorities, the man had sex with the girl on a regular basis since she was six -- sometimes as often as several times per week.
The man's cover was blown when the girl, then 10, began exhibiting signs of pregnancy last year. She gave birth by C-section on December 12, and both child and infant are in the custody of an adult cousin who does not demand sex from children.
The man denied fathering his stepchild's child, though DNA test results have suggested otherwise.
If convicted, he could receive up to 99 years in prison -- welcome news to affection-starved inmates throughout the Texas state penal system.
1) Muzzammil Hassan
Victims' advocates will tell you that husband abuse at the hand of their wives often goes unreported. Then they will tell you that Muzzammil Hassan needs his balls chopped off and deposited in his backside.
Hassan's wife had file for divorce just days before he allegedly beheaded her.
The 45-year-old Orchard Park, New York man will stand trial in March for allegedly beheading his wife in February 2009. According to Hassan's defense team, the murder took place after years of abuse inflicted on Hassan by his wife, Aasiya.
"The [wife] was the dominant figure in this relationship," defense attorney Frank Bogulski told the Associated Press with what appeared to be a straight face. "He was the victim."
Both born in Pakistan, Hassan and Aasiya were co-founders of an Islamic TV station they launched in order to -- and no way did you see this coming -- combat negative stereotypes of Muslims. Cops say Hassan killed his wife at the station with a hunting knife; Aasiya's body was found one week after she had filed divorce papers.
Hassan had been married two previous times, with both wives filing for divorce over their husband's chronic cruelty. He has two children each from his first marriage and his marriage to Aasiya, which is also not believed to be stereotypical of Muslim men.

Funny I heard this story before & the reason he beheaded her was for "honorable" reasons she was becoming too "westernized" ,oh but now he has been abused by her.Yeah right show us some scars!Looks like she is the one who was abused I mean beheadiing thats pretty severe abuse if you ask me

He was a preacher, and I'm pretty sure she did it while the kids were at the house. She then took the kids and ran off to Gulf Shores, AL or somewhere on the gulf. She only served 6 months or something like that because her defense was that she was abused sexually, physically, and mentally over a long period of time by her husband. If this guy really was abused, why shouldn't he get the same leniency?
Posted 02/01/2010 at 10:21:08 AMJenn -- I definitely remember that case and there was evidence all over their house to supported the wife's stories about things her husband would make her do, including dressing up in stripper heels for his pleasure.
This guy, however, has no case. He has ex-wives who are vocalizing how cruel he was in their marriages, and you'd be pretty hard-pressed to find a Muslim man who would let the woman dominate the relationship. Not to mention, his story keeps changing.
So, no. This guy doesn't deserve any leniency.

Posted 02/01/2010 at 04:02:39 PMThe problem is SHE filed for divorce. It is extremely rare that an abuser would seek to end the relationship. Typically, they're happy being the bully. But in this case, she did try to end it, which doesn't give much credence to his abuse story. For argument's sake, let's say she did beat him...again, SHE filed for divorce. If she was leaving him, thus ending the abuse, why did he feel the need to behead her?

Unfortunately, while women who are new to the concept that abuse does not have to be tolerated are finally realizing that there really is a better life without their abuser, they need to learn that the first order of ending an abusive relationship is LEAVING. Get out! Go somewhere safe, report it to the police immediately and THEN file for divorce.
Scumbags like this need to be made an example of. They are an embarrassment to men everywhere and do not even deserve the title of "man". They are anything but a true man and this will, no doubt, be made very clear while in prison.

Posted 05/04/2010 at 05:14:15 PMI am not a racist or a liberal and I am not religious, however, I want to go on the record as saying this is a war for your ability to choose a religion if you like or choose not to be religious, but more importantly, it is a war for the survival of anyone that is not a Muslim!!
I also agree with Abraham Lincoln's assertion that "All men are created equal" and have spent most of my live defending our freedoms, including "Freedom of Religion" and all of the other basic human rights.
At the same time, as someone who has spent most of his live defending these freedoms against all enemies, foreign and domestic, I have a fundamental belief that as a American Warrior, Freedom Fighter and Marine, I have a fiduciary responsibility to each and every legal resident of the United States, to carefully identify the enemies of Our Great Nation, meticulously study and analyze them, covertly track and close with them , and methodically execute a strategic plan with contingencies to defeat and destroy them.
With that said, I went about doing exactly that and so I read and studied everything I could get my hands on about Muslims and Islam.
I read the Quran, the Sunna (the examples) as recorded in the Hadith, the Umma and the Ulema (consensus of Muslims and their religious intellectuals). These make up the roots of the "Sharia" or Islamic Law. I also read many other books but the one that spells out the way our enemies’ perceive us, but the best one is a book called "The Al Qaeda Reader", by Raymond Ibrahim. It explains many of the items in the Quran, The Sunna, the Hadith and how they are interpreted and understood by the Umma and Ulema. Just in case you do not have time to read all of this, here are the condensed basics.
The truth about Islam and Muslims:
1. Islamic people believe Sharia Law and that it determines "Right and Wrong" in Islam. Every law, practice, or ideology must be traced back to "usul al-fiqh" or the roots of jurisprudence. Sharia Law covers everything in Muslim Society including, but not limited to, politics, economics, contract law, business law, finance law, diet laws, family law, sexual laws, dress codes, criminal law, civil law and. Sharia Law is traced (in order of authority) to:
A. The Quran
B. The Sunna (example) (the words, practices and habits of Muhammad, the Profit, as recorded in the "hadith")
C. Consensus of the "umma", more specifically, the "ulema". The umma being the international Muslim community as a whole and the ulema being the religious intellectuals or leaders that are most respected throughout Islamic history.
2. According to the Koran, all people except those of Islamic faith are classified as Infidels (All non-Muslims):
A. People of the Book (Christians and Jews)
B. People of the Scriptures (Christians and Jews)
C. Crusaders (Westerners, now including all NATO countries)
D. Pagans (One who has little or no religion)
E. Idolaters (One who worships an Idol or Idols)
F. Secular (Not religious or not belonging to a religious order)
3. All people in #2. A-F above, are considered Infidels, and, are to be treated in one of the following manners by Muslims:
A. If they convert to Islamic faith, they are to be treated as other Muslims. Quran 9:6
B. If they are People of the Book or People of the Scriptures (Christians and Jews), who have not fought against Muslims, they are allowed to exist as a Dhimmi (second class citizen) that is FORCED to obey social restrictions and FORCED to pay the overlord a “JIZYA” or SPECIAL TAX. Quran 9:29
C. If the Infidels do not fall into A or B above, they are to be killed. Quran 9:5, 9:6, 9:33.
4. With the above information, and the history of Islam and Muslims, you will better understand that the Muslims that are not involved in Terrorist or Extremist Actions, are still supportive of these people with any actions they can take towards an end result of all of the non-Muslims either being converted, controlled or killed. There support may assist this goal in many different forms as follows:
A. A Muslim College or University Professor supports the end goal by teaching Middle Eastern Studies in a diluted form and explains how Islam is a religion of peace (a falsehood).
B. A Muslim Politician supports the end goal by working towards legislation that is beneficial to the Muslim population while at the same time stating it is in the name of religious freedom or against racism and religious persecution (a falsehood).
C. A Muslim that owns a radio or TV station or magazine (media outlets), supports the end goal by telling the American how peaceful Muslims are and how things like "Honor Killings" are only happening in under-developed Muslim Countries, but not in educated Muslim populations like in the United States. Now, with a basic understanding, you should be able to comprehend why the mosque located at or near ground zero, is nothing more than a slap in the face of everyone in the United States except a Muslim and for them it is a step towards victory.

Islam teaches "zero tolerance" for any religion except Islam and has proven this continuously since it was established.
