Police in Carthage, Missouri issued an Amber Alert last Thursday when Eddie Sr. reported that two masked men had broken into his home, ransacking the place and beating dad to a state of unconsciousness. When he woke up, 8-month-old Eddie Jr. was gone.

An autopsy's expected to be concluded today, but police have called off their search for the masked men. The investigation now centers on Eddie Sr., who's been charged with filing a false police report.
Judging by the $100,000 bond -- a massive figure for such a minor crime -- it appears that detectives believe Eddie Sr. is their perp. If they're right, he would be the second father since the new year to call in a fake abduction of a young son, only for police to later reveal that dad is the real killer.

Just when I think the child killing stepdad (claiming "intruders" did it) was over you got this peice of crap so these parent killing, child starving, types are a dime a dozen huh? I say lets put them all in one big room and gas em!!

Posted 02/18/2010 at 10:00:18 AMI actually know this father. I personaly am so shocked I would have never believed he would have done anything like this especially to his own child. But I guess people are not who they claim to be.He will get what's coming to him but one thing I do know is that this event will 4ever huant him. I cry every time I hear this story. It's so unreal.Baby Eddie will always be remembered.
