Pedophile politician's $150,000 bribery scheme

According to his live-ion girlfriend, Tabor was pissed when he arrived home from the war to find that his daughter from a previous marriage was behind in her development. The 4-year-old didn't know her colors, numbers, or her ABCs. So Tabor decided to school her -- forcefully.
The girl later told police that dad would fill the kitchen sink with hot water and dunk her head until she agreed to recite her ABCs. He also apparently beat her, since police found bruising and scratch marks on her back, arms, legs and butt.
Tabor admitted holding his daughter over the sink because she was afraid of water, but says he only did it a few times and never submerged her head. He's been charged with assaulting a child.

what, no comments?
are all the right-wing fucktards terrified to admit that water boarding is torture?
or are they afraid if this guy gets tried and convicted that their, "it's not torture, it's intense interrogation" bullshit argument now has legal backing that it IS torture
Posted 02/09/2010 at 08:41:28 PMTmonsta, this story is about a 4 year old who obviously is abused by her father. Four year olds who do not recite the alphabet and terrorists who intend to kill as many people as possible are NOT on the same level.
Terrorists deserve what they get. And if it saves lives, I'm all for it.
Posted 02/09/2010 at 09:14:01 PMKrystal - there's only two problems with your argument, otherwise I would agree completely:
1. The majority of people waterboarded and subjected to far worse torture by the US military are not terrorists and have been released without charge. In many cases the military even admitted to knowing they weren't guilty before torturing them.
2. All the torturing done in the name of US citizens since 2001 has not saved a single life. The recent admission by that FBI guy that his story was completely fictional and he had never even been to Gitmo was just another right-wing support falling over by itself. Numerous FBI, CIA, and Military personnel have stated that no valuable information was ever gained by torturing suspected terrorists.
I agree that terrorists deserve all they get, and if it saved lives then it is worth it. But both of those assertions turn out to be completely false. Do some reading via a google search for 'torture effectiveness' and rethink your opinions.
To paraphrase a certain GW Bush - We have to stop them torturing people over there so they don't end up torturing people here. The president already has the unilateral authority to order assassinations of US citizens without due process or judicial review of any sort, and he has been using this authority.
Blind acceptance such as yours will only hasten the day when these torture techniques are used on people like you and me for just about any reason they like.
Posted 02/09/2010 at 10:02:23 PMTamonsta, the only "fucktard" on this board is you. Turning this story into a political debate against "right wingers" just shows how low your IQ really is. Clearly, this man is a monster, and if it makes you feel better to think he is a republican, then it is time for you to go back to your cave.
Posted 02/09/2010 at 10:30:27 PM@tmonsta You were the first commenting on this page and made a first connection no one else but your ass made. Perhaps its you a little to (into) politics. You missed the mark and point it was about an abused child not the next campaign. I hope they keep this kat away from this four year old little girl bless her heart, his methods certainly would'nt have helped her learn her abc's only bring her fear and pain what as ass.
Posted 02/09/2010 at 10:55:13 PMFirst off, he dunked her. He didn't water board her.
Second off, he's a complete monster and there is never any excuse for this behavior.
As Andrew Vachss once said, "man is the only animal that tolerates predators of its species."
Posted 02/10/2010 at 12:09:26 AM"are all the right-wing fucktards terrified to admit that water boarding is torture?"
It's not afraid to admit, its that we need a new word or something, superdupertortureroo perhaps, to describe the way our enemies treat our prisoners. Otherwise when you pick up the paper and see that US prisoners were tortured, and then read that US soldiers taken prisoner were tortured, you think there is some equivalence. That is because while we endlessly debate our interrogation techniques publicly, and worry that we are being too cruel, our enemies do things like castrate, flay the skin off of, pull the nails out of, poke the eyes out of, our soldiers that they take prisoner.
But I do like the fact that you call be you disagree with fucktards, you know what else I hate about the right wing tea bagging racist homophobes? They resort to hateful name calling!
Posted 02/10/2010 at 06:57:19 AMOkay first of all he didn't waterboard her, but if you said 'dunk' then you would be letting facts screw up a good headline.
More importantly they don't tell us the key facts, did she learn her ABCs better after this treatment? How can we, as parents, improve our skills if we don't have all the latest data on parenting techniques?
Posted 02/10/2010 at 06:59:11 AMSTILL.
holding your daughter above water because she's "scared of it" is STILL fucked up.
Just because she didn't know her abc's, really? Jeez.
Posted 02/10/2010 at 06:47:15 PMUgh. People in this world, I swear.
To bad this bastard didn't get killed in Iraq!!!!!
Posted 02/10/2010 at 11:39:49 PMFirst off I would like to point out that torturing of anyone is a waste time and energy. It does not provide any useful information and to use the argument that our military is and has been tortured far worse than 'Waterboarding' doesn't make it right in any rule of engagement. If we want to build trust and begin a new chapter of understanding of vastly different ideologies, we can not by definition react that way others do. We must stand by our beliefs, ideals, a sense of morality. Just because we are at war, and let their be no mistake here we are at war, there is no luxury of being able to disregard core beliefs for the moment and then to justify it.
As for the SGT. He doesn't deserve to be a father, should be lock up for a good long while. No excuse, no defense, may god have mercy on his soul.
Posted 02/11/2010 at 11:02:39 PMI guess we can ask, did the military let this “mental deficient” into their ranks or did they make this normal guy in this “mental deficient”. Even Ronald Reagan said that water boarding was torture, but I guess Cheney and his gay daughter are the brain trust on this lie that has been perpetuated onto the American people and signed off by the GOP.

Posted 02/13/2010 at 01:03:58 PMHELLO READERS!! Attention, try connecting with the story and realize what its about......ITS NOT ABOUT POLITICS! ITS ABOUT AN ABUSED CHILD! Not just abused tortured over the GODAMN ALPHABET!!! Want to be outraged?? From this story I feel like THAT is what you should be outraged about. The rest is just degrees of seperation and take away from the fact this little girl was tormented bless her heart!
Posted 02/15/2010 at 06:14:30 PMThis article isn't a political debate about torture, you fucking idiots. It's about a little girl who was abused.
Posted 02/15/2010 at 11:43:55 PMThe government can torture all the prisoners they have and they can spend all the money they don't have creating a new superhuge agency we don't need to torture the public, the TSA, but if we're talking about waterboarding and terrorists, they've only succeeded in taking our attention from the fact they they are to blame for not taking the procedure of all the other airlines in the world, with a secure cockpit with a bullet proof locked door. All the other countries are way ahead of us when it comes to common sense and unfortunately, the government is way ahead of the public when it comes to bamboozling them about it.
Posted 02/17/2010 at 07:42:10 PMSo did she learn her ABC's?
