Luis Posada Carriles, CIA-Sponsored Terrorist, Gets the Kid Glove Treat from U.S. Government

• I agree Jerry Sierra, Americans today are too caught up in the affairs of the so-called rich and famous to notice what's going on right beneath their noses. And, if you are to believe other conspiracy theories, it's exactly what the government wants. Which is easier to control: Flabby, out of shape couch potatoes or strong, capable people ready to fight for their freedom? Get my point? We spend too much time online or watching television when we should be working at bettering ourselves, our communities and our planet. If we were to shed this caste system we have created, shed these titles which divide us and embrace each other for who we are we would truly be united. To be truly powerful, we must first learn how to yield.

• This whole ordeal is a complete embarrassment... and it makes me want to scream. I wish I could feel that "soon every American will open their eyes..." as Fate believes... but after spending over 2 decades steeped in Cuban/American history and the relations between the two countries, it does not seem likely. We're too sidetracked by sex scandals, and celebrity pairings, and sales at Best Buy and the economy and lying politicians to really see who we are and what our existence means. Carriles is not the only Cuban/American terrorist, and most of those who have pulled his strings and funded his monstrosities are not in danger of even being exposed… I see this issue as an extension of traditional U.S. desires to control Cuba. I'm going to walk into a closet and scream my heart out now.

• This monster needs to be punished at any cost. Our government, the same government that is in charge of our safety can and will protect him from the consequences of his actions! Damn it people, we cannot allow such hypocrisy and corruption to continue within our own borders any longer! If this is the way that the government is going to treat a terrorist then by god we need to abolish such a government! I know I am not alone on this, I know that there are others just like me whose blood boils every time you think of this monster being free...Wake up you sheep! Wake up and see that America is dead, it died at it's very conception, the only thing that still exists is the ideals it was "founded" on. • Sad as it is to know that Posada might get away with numerous counts of murder, there is no shock in reading that the government will handle him with leniency. From what I've come to understand, the CIA is just another word for Mafia.
