Just a day after we brought you this poisoned meat story from California, it seems another creep has taken the concept wholesale: Someone's leaving poison meatballs out to kill dogs in Spokane, Washington...
A woman out feeding her horses last week noticed one of her dogs eating something at about 6 a.m. Someone had left out some meatballs. Thirty minutes later, the dog went into convulsions and died at a veterinarian clinic.
Another pet owner had two dogs die of poisoning not far away. And in still another incident, someone left tainted meatballs inside a fenced-in yard.
The meat is being tested at Washington State University, but police are warning people in Spokane to keep their dogs from eating things outside.
