Reader: Few Soldiers Believe that Muslims are Just a Bunch of Rag Heads

Well if we based it on what the republican media says about muslims(a lot of times they paint with a wide brush and dont distinguish)We would only believe they are terrorists and backwards. Let's not forget the documented and undocumented cases of rape,and flat out disrespect of islamic culture. Who needs ANY soldiers from the usa .Japan also feels the same too many times has raped occurred from u.s soldiers.

Have rapes occured by service members? Yes, but those people shouldn't have been in uniform to begin with but it happened, but when those crimes are committed we report them and the ones responsible are punished. I know that there are good Muslims out there. But the religion itself is evil. Yes there is evil in the Bible too, but then you have the New Testament saying that we should not listen to the evil parts of the Old Testament. With the Koran though you don't have another part saying that you should not listen to the part thats bad. I am not a Christian by the way, I am just pointing that out about the Bible because so many people here in America are Christians. I am not an atheist either though. Anyway ever since Islam was created it has brought nothing but violence to the world. Everywhere it goes it spreads violence. It has the worst human rights violations of any other religion. I try not to judge other people or other ways of life, unless of corse those ways of life are causing harm to others, and Islam definitely causes harm. When you have a religious text that is saying to beat your wife, that if a woman has been raped that she is the one to be punished, or that women should not be allowed to have any freedom, then you know that's a evil religion. I can't understand how a Muslim male can have a mom, or a sister, and still feel that women should be treated that way. But the fact that they can feel that way because of conditioning from their culture shows you that that religion does not need to be around. Not only does it miss treat women, but also homosexuals, people of other religions, and free thinkers. To give you an idea of how backward this religion is, in many Islamic countries if they think that you have stolen something, but they cannot prove it. They will make you lick a pice of burning hot metal. They will then look at the blisters on your tongue, which they believe revels if you are a thief or not. Multiculturalism only goes so far. You can't tolerant a way of life that is not tolerant of other ways of life. I don't want to see anyone that is a Muslim terrorist mistreated, like has happened at the prison camps. But one must remember that they don't hold the same feelings of compassion that many non Muslims would feel towards them. Also like I said at the beginning there are good Muslims out there, but they are good because they don't take their religion to seriously. I hope that one day humanity can break away from that terrible religion.

Of course there are lots of good Muslim people that don't hurt anybody, but that is because they are not following their religion. If they truly followed their religion it would lead them to violence. I am not against Muslim people, but I am against their religion.

Oh and "What?", go back and re-read 9/11's posting, he/she didn't say that "all Muslims condoned harming America" or that they were all a bunch of ragheads, He/she was venting their frustration of all the pro islamic comments spewing out on that other posting. Even though we are WAY off the subject at hand (the stupid women giving their money away) I agree with 9/11 and I have also served multiple tours in Iraq, and am also extremly disturbed with the fact that so many people on here are defending the barbaric islamic culture. Subspace is 100% correct in regards to their views on women and anyone who doesn't believe the way they do. True looking at other religions there has been lots of bloodshed in the name of said religion but we are in a new day and age, we know better now.
The only thing I don't agree with Subspace is I DO believe muslim terrorists should be mistreated, tortured etc. They are pure evil, looking to kill as many innocent civilians as possible, cleanse the world of this evil and we will all be better off.

Subspace is right regarding the way the islamic faith believes women or other religions should be treated. Again we have another hypocrite, you are sitting there pointing out an INDIVIDUAL that killed an abortion doctor, where we are pointing out God only knows how many radicals trying to kill innocent civilians in the name of your religion. The guy who killed the doctor was wrong in what he did, he didn't do it in the name of God, he did it to "save the lives of the babies" (his words). He wasn't following the teachings of the Bible.
