Rip Torn, Alleged Actor, Drunkenly Breaks into Connecticut Bank

Rip Torn has appeared in Men in Black and The Larry Sanders Show. He now appears drunkenly confused in Connecticut banks.
​It appears the 78-year-old star of stage and screen decided it would be a good idea to smash a window in his front door so he could sleep off a night of boozing. Unfortunately, Torn was so hammered he mistook the Litchfield Bank for his own home, so he broke a window and let himself in.

The only damage was to the window. And since Torn was too drunk to realize he'd broken into a bank, he was also too drunk to steal anything. He was found waiting for police with a loaded gun.

This isn't the first time he's run afoul of of Johnny Law. He has multiple arrests for drunk driving. He's also made multiple attempts -- apparently unsuccessful -- to quit the sauce.

In court this morning, he agreed to once again entertain another bout with rehab.
