• Wasn't even close to being the truth. An owner shouldn't start by pushing people around and not expect something (a fist) in return. Especially if the owner never states who he is and why he's pushing them. Innocent bystander

• This story cracked me up!!!! This sounds like something I would have done i college with a bunch of my beer drinking buddies. Just to catch a free buzz of course- betting that these boys were thinking the same thing. Thing is though wine make me all warm,fuzzy and FRIENDLY- no punching after a bottle of Merlot.

• Ah..that explains it. I wouldn't call you a baby, or anything else. Not sure what got my panties in a bunch... Keep up the (mostly) decent work. ;)

• I think I'm just pouting, Timothy. I'm a big hockey fan, but they're putting ice dancing on network TV for the Olympics, and ghettoizing hockey on an obscure cable financial channel. So I believe the more accurate insult would be that I'm a baby, at which point I'll have to plead guilty.

• Timothy I think Pete's comment was both creative and intelligent. Creative (the statement speaks for itself) and intelligent because he threw some history in there too about the French being quick to surrender. Get off of your high horse "He is only pandering to the lowest common denominator by using those phrases" listen to yourself man, if you don't like some simple comedy get off this website, keep your nose up in the air and keep that stick crammed up your a$$. All of us "lowest common denominators" will sit here and get a good chuckle from Pete's witty postings.

• My point is that Pete is obviously a man of some intelligence, and usually posts good stories. He is only pandering to the lowest common denominator by using those phrases, and granted maybe they weren't homophobic, but surely they only thing they did was to perpetuate stereotypes that were outdated and honestly pretty lame. The rest of you that think it is funny? That's your prerogative to do so, just as it is mine to comment that it was a ridiculously cliched comment to make. Use some creativity, use some intelligence...

• Actually ... you ever seen one of those Ice Dancers pick up a female Ice Dancer .... I am a relatively stocky bloke and I don't think I could lift a woman over my head like they do. That being said ... Timmy .... you are one of those serious Political Correctness zombies who want to elimainate everything that offends your sensibilities (ie everything) from society .... get over yourself and your morally superior crap.

• Ninjas on meth scare me, Junker. If an ice dancer ever turns into a ninja on meth, I'll retract my attempted insult.

• Pete, them ice dancers are quick and those blades are damn sharp. They can slice through you like a ninja on meth. They may look dainty but they pack a wallop when they start twirling cause of the momentum. And the French Canadian ones are meaner than polecats and if they don't get you their big brother on the hockey team will. At least I think he was his big brother. Trust me I know what I'm talking about.

• Thanks, Ryan. I got no beef with gay people. I was just thinking about who would be the last guy you'd pick a fight with. He had to be French, given their history of immediate surrender. And ice dancer was the daintiest profession I could think of.
